On www.wintersoldier.com's Timeline page, it says "April 22, 1972 -- John Kerry represents the VVAW at the "Emergency March for Peace" in Bryant Park in New York City." At that same time, according to the FBI surveillance file, Section 50, Part 1, Page 152. VVAW/WSO revealed information about a US Military operation. "...the VVAW/WSO operation during 4/72 during which a canvass of VVAW/WSO members, some in active military service, developed information indicating US would bomb Hanoi and Haiphong. This information was disseminated by VVAW/WSO prior to the actual bombing and could have seriously jeopardized US Military operations and lives of...

On April 18th, this year, Mr Kerry, as Tim Russert's guest, assured the host, that his records would be made available to the public. To this day, only selective portions have been released. When will Tim Russert challenge Mr Kerry to fulfill his promise?? From NBC NEWS- Meet the Press: " MR. RUSSERT: The Boston Globe reports that your commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Grant Hibberd has suggested that you perhaps didn't earn your first Purple Heart and question whether you should have left Vietnam after six months. In order to deal with those kinds of issues, when I asked President...

WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 /U.S. Newswire/ -- MoveOn PAC today released a new 30-second TV spot attacking George W. Bush for failing to call on one of his major donors -- a long-time associate of Karl Rove and leading Texas Republican funder -- to stop the smear campaign on John Kerry (news - web sites)'s Vietnam service being run by a group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. The ads, which start running in three states and nationally Tuesday, call on the President to personally denounce the ads for their false and misleading attacks on Senator Kerry -- just as Senator...

August 16, 2004 The Alston Story Goes Back Farther Than First Thought As early as May of 2002 the Rev. David Alston and Senator John F. Kerry commenced perpetrating a deliberate fraud on the American electorate Ð a fraud to present Alston as an eyewitness to KerryÕs self-reported heroics in battle. They lied about the action on 29 Jan 69 aboard PCF-94. Contemporaneous reporting from the Associated Press (Jim Davenport, 4 May 2002), The State (Columbia, S.C., John Huiett, 5 May 2002), and The Boston Herald reveals Kerry and Alston's untruthful representation of John Kerry's service in order to claim...

n the last few days, there's been a new accusation floating around the Internet about John Kerry's Vietnam record. It involves speculation that David Alston, one of the "band of brothers" who served on board Kerry's Swift Boat, did not actually serve with Kerry at all. If such a story were true, it would be sensational news, given that Alston has made extensive public statements, including a speech at the Democratic National Convention, about his time with Kerry. The only problem is, it's not true. Alston did indeed serve under Kerry. But the attention the rumor brought to Alston and...

Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group of Vietnam veterans, says Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry lied to get several of his commendations for gallantry in military service 35 years ago and later lied about other aspects of his service. An independent research organization, FactCheck.org, affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center, recently examined some of the claims. Here are the conclusions from it and other sources: Silver Star, for "extraordinary daring and per sonal courage . . . in attacking a numerically superior force in the face of in tense fire." On Feb. 28, 1969, Kerry,...

The passionate debate over John Kerry's war record has become a question of credibility. Who is accurately portraying what the Democratic presidential candidate did in Vietnam 35 years ago? Kerry's designated advocate Lanny Davis has posed a simple test of who was aboard a small boat with the future senator during his baptism of fire. On Dec. 2, 1968, Lt. j.g. Kerry saw his first action aboard a small boat called a skimmer or Boston whaler, resulting in the first of three Purple Hearts. Two crewmen, among the veterans who stood with Kerry on the podium in Boston, say only...

I was on Mr. Kerry's boat in Vietnam. He doesn't deserve to be commander in chief.

WHEN NEWS broke in the New Hampshire Sunday News that John Kerry made up the story of Mary Ann Knowles having to work through her chemotherapy for fear of losing her health insurance, deja vu bells went off. Knowles, the New Hampshire resident and campaign volunteer he cited in his Democratic National Convention acceptance speech and used as justification for his health care plan, didn’t work through chemo because of an insurance problem. She kept working because her salary would have been reduced if she had gone on disability — a weighty prospect, to be sure. But, her husband told...

I have read a lot on FR concerning Kerry and the Swift Boats, and have listen and seen a lot of it on the tube and listened to the story on the radio. I believe the Swift Boat vets. However, here is my question. Since Kerry was in the Navy - and all navy personnel on FR know this - then he was required to keep a log on the boat. All the boats kept logs. All the logs are saved. Why doesn't someone go back and check the log records of Kerry's boat and the other boats? Has this...

A caller in the 10 o'clock (EST) claimed to be a vet who arrived in Vietnam shortly after Kerry left. Part of the caller's job was to review action reports involving special forces personnel. Regarding the incident in which Kerry saved Rathman by pulling him from the water, the caller says none of the action reports (there were 4-6 ?, one from each commander of the swift boats involved) reported enemy fire. This includes the report written by Kerry. (He especially noted the Kerry report because he had heard stories about the swift boat commander who bragged he would be...

I will just post the last graph for copyright purposes, but you should read the whole thing. It is a study in narcissitic self-pity:John Kerry's Vietnam War journalExcerpt from a type-written journal kept by John F. Kerry during his tour of duty in the Vietnam War: ... It's cool now and the evening has closed around you to become full night. The night for once is comforting and you take a coke and some peanut butter and jelly and go up on the roof of the cabin whit your tape recorder and sit for a while, quietly, watching flares float...

Dear Oxen, I'm interrupting John Kerry's dispatches from the road to tell you about something that will make you angry, but which is important for you to hear. We knew it was coming: the Bush campaign and several allied right-wing groups are using August to launch a vicious smear attack against John Kerry. They think we're vulnerable this month because while George Bush is still able to raise money for attack ads, Kerry had to stop fundraising at the Democratic convention last week. They're taking this opportunity to go for the jugular. We need you to join us in this...

WASHINGTON — Part of John Kerry's (search) strategy in his White House bid is to play up his military service in Vietnam, but a group of veterans is challenging the Democratic presidential nominee's story. ~In an Oct. 14, 1979, letter to the editor of the Boston Herald, Kerry wrote: "I remember spending Christmas Eve of 1968 five miles across the Cambodian borde being shot at by our South Vietnamese allies who were drunk and celebrating Christmas. The absurdity of almost being killed by our own allies in a country in which President Nixon claimed there were no American troops was...

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS JOHN FORBES KERRY? [08/09 10:14 PM] As many of you saw this evening, Fox News' Carl Cameron asked the Kerry campaign about his tale of spending Christmas 1968 across the border in Cambodia. Apparently, the Kerry campaign tried to assert Kerry had only said he was "near" Cambodia. "Campaign Carl" confronted them with the Boston Herald interview and Kerry's remarks in the Congressional Record (don't these people read Instapundit?) , in which Kerry claimed he was in Cambodia. The campaign didn't have an answer for why Kerry said on those occasions he was in Cambodia,...

DEMOCRATIC nominee John F. Kerry has made his tour of duty in Vietnam -- a stint in which he earned three Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and a Silver Star -- a centerpiece of his presidential campaign. To the extent, then, that there are legitimate questions about Mr. Kerry's behavior -- either in Vietnam or back home as a prominent antiwar activist -- those are fair game. Mr. Kerry's four-plus months in Vietnam made for an unusually short tour. He used his third Purple Heart to go home early, and his wounds were relatively superficial. Some veterans remain understandably bitter...
