This is like praising the 9/11 hijackers for increasing visibility in Manhattan. “Prince Charles hails PIRATES for an ’explosion’ in marine life due to scared fisherman,” by Joseph Carey, Express, October 6, 2017: PRINCE CHARLES has praised ocean pirates for scaring off fishermen that has led to a “fantastic explosion for bigger and better fish”. Speaking at an ocean conservation conference in Malta, the Prince of Wales stirred up controversy by praising Somalian pirates for scaring off trawler crews to create a greater wealth of marine life.

Earlier today, the Southern Baptist Convention adopted a resolution condemning the movement known as the “alt-right.” The language of the resolution reads, in part, WHEREAS, Racism and white supremacy are, sadly, not extinct but present all over the world in various white supremacist movements, sometimes known as “white nationalism” or “alt-right”; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the messengers to the Southern Baptist Convention, meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, June 13–14, 2017, decry every form of racism, including alt-right white supremacy, as antithetical to the Gospel of Jesus Christ; and be it further RESOLVED, That we denounce and repudiate white supremacy...

After I spoke last Thursday in the beautiful nation of Iceland, a Leftist in Reykjavik poisoned me. Perhaps I should have seen it coming. The international Left has rejected free speech, and has embraced violence as a suitable response to speech contradicting its narrative. My visit triggered a firestorm of abuse in the Icelandic press, all of which was based on American Leftist talking points. Every story about my visit used the same elements. For example, that the Southern Poverty Law Center claims I purvey “hate speech,” which is a subjective judgment used to shut down dissent from the establishment...

FBI agent was at the Garland jihad attack, egging on the attackers. -------- 60 Minutes ran a feature Sunday night about the FBI curious role in the May 2015 Garland jihad attack at a free speech event co-organized by Pamela Geller and me. It was, predictably enough, viciously biased, sloppy, and incomplete, but it was nonetheless illuminating in raising a hard and unanswerable question: did the FBI want Pamela Geller and me dead? Despite the fact that the jihad attack took place at our event, neither Geller nor I appear, except in one still photo, in the 60 Minutes piece....

Petraeus would be a disaster — a stalwart of the old establishment in an administration that said it would “drain the swamp.” In May 2016, he published what was essentially an anti Trump screed, saying that proposals to restrict immigration from Muslim countries that are hotspots of jihad terror shouldn’t even be made, so as to avoid offending Muslims. He was in favor of using al Qaeda jihadis to defeat the Islamic State, which would give us a region full of al-Qaeda jihadis with American weapons and materiel who hate the United States and want to destroy it. (This is...

Following a conference put together by a controversial white nationalist organization called the National Policy Institute on Saturday, the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. has released a statement to condemn the "hateful rhetoric" that took place there. The head of the organization, Richard Spencer, has previously been recognized as someone who is a flagrant "promoter of white identity" who openly opposes multiculturalism.

Over the weekend, leading voices of the alt-right movement gathered a few short blocks from the White House for a conference full of speeches and panels to discuss their vision of the future. The event took on new meaning with Donald Trump’s surprising victory over Hillary Clinton in the presidential election. According to the New York Times, the early parts of the conference had a much more subdued tone when it came to racism and rhetoric towards minorities and immigrants, but after reporters called it a day and left, the discourse became harsher and more overtly angry. With Richard Spencer...

There were six global Islamic jihad attacks in Israel over the weekend, a knife attack in a mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and a bombing attack in the city of New York, with other bombs found in New York and New Jersey, and yet the elites in the media and the government who hold authority over us insist on covering up the truth and doing everything in their power not to admit that we’re at war with the global jihad. Of course, those in charge waste no time coming on the “news” to spew platitudes at us such as “if...

Barack ObamaÂ’s fantasy Islam made a new appearance Monday, when he issued a statement congratulating and praising Muslims on the occasion of the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha: Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to Muslims across our country and around the world who are celebrating Eid al-Adha. This special holiday is a time to honor the sacrifice, resolve, and commitment to God demonstrated by Abraham. In speaking of Abraham, it is important to remember that there is no parallel in the QurÂ’an to Genesis 22:15-18, in which Abraham is rewarded for his faith and told he will...

If Msgr. Swetland is correct, and it is Church teaching that all Catholics must accept that Islam is a religion of peace, then the Catholic hierarchy will have demonstrated that it does not have the authority or reliability in discerning and transmitting the truth that it claims to have; Papal claims to speak in the name of Christ will be eviscerated; and the Catholic Church as a whole exposed as a fraud.

On Relevant Radio’s Drew Mariani Show on August 10, 2016, Msgr. Stuart Swetland, President of Donnelly College in Kansas City, Kansas, and I engaged in a lively discussion over whether Islam is a religion of peace or of violence. Notice how, right at the end of the show when I had no opportunity to reply, Msgr. Swetland essentially reads me out of the Catholic Church for not believing that Islam is a religion of peace, and claims, falsely, that this was not only the view of Pope Francis, but of Pope Benedict XVI and Pope John Paul II. He claims...

The mainstream media is wild with enthusiasm these days over Khizr Khan, the father of a Muslim soldier, Humayun Khan, who was killed fighting in Iraq in 2004. Khizr Khan, brimming with self-righteous anger, spoke at the Democratic National Convention, where he delivered what the Washington Post dubbed a “brutal repudiation of Donald Trump.” Trump responded, elevating Khizr Khan to the status of full-fledged flavor-of-the-moment media celebrity. There’s just one catch: Khizr is using his son’s memory not to advance the cause of the United States, as his son apparently died trying to do, but to advance a quite different...

Muhammad, the supreme example of conduct for Muslims (cf. Qur’an 33:21) bought slaves: “Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledged allegiance to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a...

Is Islam good for individuals? Is Islam good for societies? It is almost universally assumed by elites that Islam is good, and that even to ask such questions is offensive. But there is good reason to raise them anyway.

The events unfolded in predictable fashion: a young Iranian Muslim opened fire at a shopping mall in Munich while screaming “Allahu akbar,” and initial mainstream media reports were that the gunman was a “right-wing extremist,” lashing out on the fifth anniversary of the Norwegian madman Anders Breivik’s massacre, while screaming out his hatred for foreigners. As it happened, it was someone else screaming his hatred for foreigners at the jihad murderer, not the other way around, but once again, the lie had gotten halfway around the world before the truth had a chance to put on its shoes. And the...

Secretary of State John Kerry said in Vienna on Friday that air conditioners and refrigerators are as big of a threat to life as the threat of terrorism posed by groups like the Islamic State. The Washington Examiner reported that Kerry was in Vienna to amend the 1987 Montreal Protocol that would phase out hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, from basic household and commercial appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and inhalers. “As we were working together on the challenge of [ISIS] and terrorism,” Kerry said. “It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we–you–are doing here right now is of...

Instead of announcing a program to teach young Muslims why they should reject the understanding of Islam held by the Islamic State, al-Qaeda, and other jihad groups, the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) held a press conference Monday to unveil its latest cynical and deceptive report on “Islamophobia” in the U.S. The whole “Islamophobia” enterprise is designed to intimidate people into thinking there is something wrong with opposing jihad terror, and this new report is no different. A few seconds of thought would expose the deceptiveness of it to anyone, but Hamas-linked CAIR is banking on the fact that...

Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced Sunday that the FBI would release transcripts of 911 calls that Orlando jihad mass murderer Omar Mateen made during his massacre. Lynch said that the transcript would include: ... the killer’s calls with law enforcement, from inside the club. These are the calls with the Orlando PD negotiating team, who he was, where he was. However, said Lynch, there would be one significant omission: What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda. We are not going to hear him make his assertions...

This special edition of The Glazov Gang presents the Robert Spencer Moment with Robert Spencer, the Director of JihadWatch.org and the author of the new book The Complete Infidel’s Guide to ISIS. Robert discusses Trump Was Right, unveiling how, at last, a presidential candidate is recommending a foreign policy we urgently need.

Could the next president of the United States be neither Clinton, Trump, Cruz, or Kasich ... but Thomas Perez? It’s far more likely than you might think. Even before any candidate definitively secures either party’s presidential nomination, 2016 is looking more and more like 1912 all over again. In that fateful year, Theodore Roosevelt -- after four years of bored retirement -- decided that he wanted to be president again. However, Roosevelt’s handpicked successor William Howard Taft refused to yield. Because of the split, even though the Democrats’ dour, arrogant Woodrow Wilson won fewer popular votes than perennial failed...
