I just can not get over why there is not more of a voice to the double standards between the left and the right. J6ers have a rally and go to jail - The left burns a church in DC and nothing. Pro-Lifers pray on a street corner and go to jail - the left has sit-ins or blocks roads or bridges or even congress and nothing. A parent stands up and talks at a school board meeting and the police come - The left shouts down conservative speakers and the guest speaker has to leave the event they booked...

House Democrats on Wednesday plan to stage a "national day of action" against gun violence that will feature "family sit-ins," House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., announced. Pelosi said the action would "carry forward the momentum" from the Democrats' takeover of the House floor last week. Democratic lawmakers staged a 25-hour sit-in which included attempts to disrupt the floor schedule and votes. They demanded the GOP leadership allow consideration of two gun control bills, but relinquished the floor hours after the GOP adjourned the House for a week-long recess.

It's all about wedge-issues and fundraising. Before we start talking about the left-wing hissy fit unfolding in the House of Representatives, you need to keep something in mind. This is an election year. Democrats need four things: 1. They need to further their 100 year old agenda of banning guns. 2. They need to blame guns for their failure to deal with radical Islam. 3. They need a 2016 wedge issue. 4. They need - desperately - a massive pile of the political cash they claim to hate.
