Sinclair has agreed to stop preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, allowing the show to resume airing on its ABC affiliates. Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show was indefinitely suspended by ABC after comments the comedian made about Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged with the murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. “We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” said Kimmel on the Sept. 15 episode. President Donald Trump...

Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr blasted Democratic California state Sen. Scott Wiener on Tuesday for calling to break up Sinclair Broadcast Group because it's keeping late-night host Jimmy Kimmel off its ABC stations. Carr pointed to Wiener as an example of Democratic lawmakers accusing opponents of stifling free speech while engaging in it themselves. "And there it is. On Kimmel, the Democrats are engaged in nothing more than Projection and Distortion," the Trump appointee posted on X in response to Wiener’s post... He added Democrats distort the issue by blaming Trump rather than Disney...

Nexstar Media Group Inc. said it will begin preempting Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday’s return broadcast, joining Hunt Valley-based Sinclair Broadcast Group in pulling the show for the foreseeable future. ABC had said Monday it would reinstate the late-night show despite criticism of Kimmel’s comments about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. But both Sinclair and Texas-based Nexstar said they objected to Kimmel’s remarks and would replace the program with alternative content across their ABC affiliates. (...)

Low-rated "comedian" Jimmy Kimmel is headed back on the air after he was briefly suspended for lying about who murdered Charlie Kirk. As RedState reported, the late-night host will return on Tuesday night, marking a victory for the far-left elites who rallied to his defense. So much for all the cries of "fascism," I suppose. Early on in this controversy, I opined that controversial comments from FCC Chairman Brendan Carr were not the reason for Kimmel's suspension. It seems I was right, given this reversal wouldn't have happened if ABC were truly terrified of the federal government taking action. Still,...

Discussions with ABC are ongoing as we evaluate the show’s potential return,” the company’s statement read. Sinclair, which operates 30 ABC affiliates, previously joined Nexstar, another owner of ABC affiliates, in preempting Kimmel’s show last week after he made controversial comments regarding Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin. …

Jimmy Kimmel lied to millions of people and claimed Kirk was assassinated by a MAGA conservative. “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as...

ABC stations operated by Sinclair broadcasting group will air a special looking back at conservative commentator Charlie Kirk's life during Jimmy Kimmel's timeslot. His daughter, Belinda, said he died at home in London on Thursday morning after a long illness. Sinclair invented the pocket calculator but was best known for popularising the home computer, bringing it to British high-street stores at relatively affordable prices. .In composing my new book, Unmasking Obama: The Fight to Tell the True Story of a Failed Presidency, I thought hard about whether I should address the question of Barack Obama's sexuality. Two considerations persuaded me to pursue the issue. One was the no-holds-barred media treatment of the sex life, real and imagined, of Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh. The second was the fact that despite Obama's early feint to the center, his presidency was something of a golden age for gay America. A May 2012 Newsweek cover story, in fact, dubbed Obama "the first gay president." Understandably, the fear...

Sinclair, who has served prison time in Arizona, Florida and Colorado for forgery, fraud and larceny, is now campaigning to win the mayor’s seat in Cocoa, a town of around 19,000 people, in the November 6 election.
