In an interview with 60 Minutes, Miller, who went public with her real identity earlier this month, recalls her reaction to the March 2016 sentencing of Brock Turner, a former star swimmer at Stanford University. Turner was found guilty of three felonies for sexually assaulting her outside an on-campus fraternity party in January 2015, and served only three months in county jail. “I was in shock,” Miller says. “So you’re saying I just...

When I was ten years old I began being groomed by my aunt’s husband as I babysat their children. He eventually raped me at the age of 13. I had the courage to tell a classmate what had been done to me, which was then reported to the school counselor and my parents were notified. I was immediately taken to my local doctor’s office to be examined, where I was told I was pregnant from the rape. That day would be the first time I heard the word abortion. My family doctor suggested abortion to my parents as a solution...

In September 2018 a University of Kansas student met with police officers outside Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She explained to an officer that she had been raped the day before. The details, however, were blurry because she was drunk at the time, she said, according to court documents. Worried about what reporting a rape could mean for her career, she told officers she did not want to press charges. But she allowed them to look through her phone before going inside for a rape examination. Lawrence police detectives decided the student was lying and, without telling her, investigated her rather than...

Sweden has been on the receiving end from some negative press and even a controversial tweet from Donald Trump. Since loosening their immigration restrictions nearly a decade ago, then assuming a leadership role in opening their doors to migrants in the 2015 ‘Refugee’ Crisis; Sweden has, consequently, witnessed some undesirable side effects. Sexual assault, robberies, bombings, explosions, violent crime, gang-related murders, etc, have all increased in recent years. Their politically correct approach to collecting crime data has left some superficial bafflement in ascertaining causal factors explain the uptick in crime. Just to recall a basic fact: Intercourse/PIV is always rape, plain and simple. This is a developed recap from what I’ve been saying in various comments here and there in the last two years or so. as a radfem I’ve always said PIV is rape and I remember being disappointed to discover that so few radical feminists stated it clearly. How can you possibly see it otherwise? Intercourse is the very means through which men oppress us, from which we are not allowed to escape, yet some instances of or PIV and intercourse may be chosen and free? That makes...

“We should do what any other country does, by dealing with this situation in a serious way,” Rep. Omar insisted at a public meeting in Minnesota– but the Somalia-born ‘Squad’ member was not advocating building a wall or adopting a robust policy of turning illegal migrants away, as sovereignist governments in Hungary and Italy have done, drastically reducing not only migrant numbers, but also migrant deaths. Instead, she demanded an outside entity take control of the situation, demanding: “[W]e have to bring in the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees – an agency that has the expertise and the training...

North Carolina's Dem governor vetoes bill requiring police cooperation with ICE on illegal immigrants In vetoing a bill calling for better state and local cooperation with U.S. immigration authorities, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper is favoring the interests of illegal immigrants over basic public safety, the state's Republicans argued Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Cooper, a Democrat, nixed a proposal that would have made it mandatory for state and local law enforcement to comply with detainer requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Under the plan, sheriff’s offices and other law enforcement departments would have been required to hold...

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WNCN) — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials arrested a Honduran man after deputies in Mecklenburg County released him, despite rape and child sex charges. Authorities say Oscar Pacheco-Leonardo, 33, a repeat immigration violator, was targeted during an enforcement operation in Mecklenburg County on Aug. 9. According to a release from ICE, the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office refused to honor an ICE detainer, or even notify ICE of the release, resulting in Pacheco’s release, despite first-degree rape and indecent liberties with a minor charges. Pacheco was previously removed from the United States to Honduras in July 2006, and...
