(WXYZ) DEARBORN, Mich. - Fordson High School football is accustomed to the spotlight, but it’s usually because of their championship teams. This time they’re in the headlines because of their practice schedule. For the first time in over two decades the Muslim holy month of Ramadan fell during an intense stretch of pre-season practice. Because most of the team is Muslim, and Muslim’s cannot eat or drink during daylight during Ramadan, the football coach decided to move practices to the middle of the night.
