(STNG) CHICAGO U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials have deported a 36-year-old Colombian man convicted of raping, stabbing and kidnapping a female victim at knifepoint, permanently disfiguring her, in 1991. Jorge Granada-Velasquez was deported to Bogota, Colombia, on Monday night, under the escort of two government officers after recently being released from prison in Joliet, according to ICE spokeswoman Gail Montenegro.
