In a move critics are calling reckless, ideologically driven, and economically devastating, New Mexico Democrats have fast-tracked House Bill 9, the so-called “Immigrant Safety Act”—through the Legislature and toward the governor’s desk, setting the stage for what opponents warn could be mass job losses, municipal insolvency, and a collapse of rural economies in Otero County, Torrance County, and Cibola County. The bill cleared the Senate late Tuesday night on a 24–15, near party-line vote after hours of heated debate. The House had already passed the measure earlier in the session after a lengthy debate led by Rep. John Block (R-Alamogordo),...

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA—Maryland governor Wes Moore, who is widely expected to seek the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination, has a powerful family story of racial injustice that he repeatedly tells during public speeches: His grandfather, as a small boy, fled 1920s Charleston with his family in the dead of night after his father—a prominent black minister and Moore’s great-grandfather—angered the Ku Klux Klan with sermons condemning racism. Narrowly escaping a lynching, the family took refuge in Jamaica. But Moore’s grandfather, just six years old at the time, vowed to return to America, where he eventually raised a grandson who made history...

Senate Republican Leader John Thune (R-SD) announced yesterday that Republicans would not use a “talking” filibuster to break the Democrats’ obstruction of the SAVE Act. This makes no sense. Stopping non-citizen voting in federal elections is not only a widely popular idea, but it’s also essential to securing our nation’s future. Thune said a talking filibuster would “tie up the Senate” and take up limited floor time needed for other things. This is the worst excuse he could have made. The Senate only works two and a half days a week now, so there’s plenty of time to do what...

As the opening ceremony approaches, Italy says hackers linked to Russia targeted foreign ministry offices and Winter Olympics sites.Italy has thwarted "a series of cyberattacks" of "Russian origin" targeting the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, the foreign minister said Wednesday (Feb 4), as security operations ramp up with just hours to go before the opening ceremony. The attacks were "on foreign ministry offices, starting with Washington, and also some Winter Olympics sites, including hotels in Cortina", Antonio Tajani said during a trip to the US city. His office did not provide further details, nor did the International Olympic Committee (IOC) immediately respond...

Washington — The Supreme Court on Wednesday declined to block California's new congressional map that could net Democrats five seats in the upcoming midterm elections. The decision from the high court clears the way for California to use for now the newly drawn lines for most of its 52 House districts in this year's congressional elections. There were no noted dissents. The map was crafted in response to a rare mid-decade redistricting by Texas Republicans last year, which aimed to help the GOP maintain its control of the lower chamber in Congress. California officials sought to draw a map that...

Chinese students and scientists who are members of the Chinese Communist Party, attended schools tied to the Chinese military or worked with companies connected to Beijing's theft of U.S. technology have “infiltrated” several top American universities, according to a watchdog group report that raises fresh concerns about America's vulnerabilities to its most fierce adversary. A conservative non-profit oversight group, the American Accountability Foundation, reported that it found nearly two dozen Chinese academics working at elite U.S. schools and labs “who because of the dual-use threat of their research, close ties to the military research sector in China, and/or clear ties...

He also believes the Bible is "pro-choice" because the Angel Gabriel "asked" Mary if she wanted to be the mother of Jesus. That's not accurate, at all, and borders on heresy. Here's what the Bible says about that encounter with Mary, from the Book of Luke, 1:28-35, 38 (emphasis added): The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with...

The ultimate question - maybe even more important than "Who's two points up in Iowa?" - is: Why is this happening to us? On our present course, within the next generation the two most valuable continents on earth plus a third "island-continent" in the South Pacific are about to be surrendered to ...something other. And all without a shot being fired - save (in America) the occasional psychotranny, (in Australia) Isis associates armed to the hilt by His Majesty's Government, and (in Europe) a demographically catastrophic war Lindsey Graham and Victoria Nuland want to fight till the last Ukrainian under...

U.S. Judge Aileen Cannon on Wednesday sentenced Ryan Routh to spend the rest of his life in prison for attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump on his Florida golf course in September 2024. Before handing down the sentence, Cannon rebuked Routh’s actions and called him an "evil" man, West Palm Beach ABC affiliate WPBF reported. Cannon issued a life sentence plus an additional seven years in prison based on the second count of the indictment. She also praised the actions of law enforcement and witnesses for bringing Routh to justice. "Despite all the evil we see, there is a sliver...

In Greek mythology, Cassandra was granted the power to see the future, but cursed so that no one would believe her. She warned of disaster repeatedly, only to be ignored until tragedy struck. Today, the United States has its own modern-day Cassandras, and once again our warnings are being dismissed. Knowledgeable experts have cautioned that our nation’s fiscal path is unsustainable. Federal budget documents themselves have repeatedly sounded the alarm. Credit rating agencies have raised increasingly serious concerns. Despite these warnings, Washington continues to behave as though time is unlimited and there are no consequences to continuing to ignore the...

The No. 1 job of a mayor, above everything else, is to keep his or her city functioning. Yet with people dying on the cold streets of New York and trash building up in parts of the city, New York is by no means functioning. Not even close. The snow and frigid temps have tested Gotham’s socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani and, alas, he has not risen to the occasion. Rather, he’s left the city a mess. Everest-size mountains of garbage have popped up. Unremoved snow, ice and road salt have damaged Con Edison electrical equipment, contributing to power outages. Most...

It's one thing to live on stolen land, constantly looking over your shoulder to see if anybody noticed and might decide to do something about it. It's quite another to insist that "No one is illegal on stolen land" in front of 14.4 million viewers on live television, and have that clip played countless times for countless millions more all over YouTube and social media — all while living in a mansion that, well, sits on "stolen land." Billie Eilish did the latter on Sunday, and now one Los Angeles attorney plans to do something about it. But I haven't...

This ICE agent didn’t care that he was being hounded by an unhinged mob of woke white progressives. If anything, it shows that the true racists, once again, are the ones who vote Democrat. This incident occurred in Minneapolis, where deportation raids are ongoing. It’s been bedlam since two leftists, Renee Good and Alex Pretti, were shot and killed by federal immigration officers for interfering in police actions; Good rammed an ICE agent with her car. Since then, there’s been nonstop harassment of ICE agents and bystanders who are mistaken for federal immigration officers, as well as roadblocks, reportedly with...

Florian Philippot characterized the situation with the search and investigation concerning the social network as a "disgrace for France"PARIS, February 4. /TASS/. Elon Musk will be arrested the second he steps foot in France, Leader of France’s Patriots party Florian Philippot wrote on his page on X, commenting on the April 20 summons issued for the billionaire by the French prosecutor’s office. "It is obvious that Elon Musk should throw the French court summons for questioning on April 20 in the trash. He absolutely should not go there. France under ‘Euromacronist’ occupation is no longer a country governed by the...

Remember when Summer Smith alleged in 2021 that her son was "tortured" by white middle schoolers who shot him with a BB gun and made him drink urine? Well, a Judge just ruled that the entire thing was a HOAX. The media and leftist organizations slandered young boys for this FAKE "racially-motivated hate crime." Summers must now pay one of the boys $3.2 MILLION in damages for LYING about him.

Let’s get this out of the way: He is embarrassingly handsome, his hair seasoned with silver, at ease with his own eminence as he delivers his final State of the State address. “In Washington, the president believes that might makes right,” pronounces California governor Gavin Newsom. “Secret police, businesses raided, windows smashed, citizens detained, citizens shot, masked men snatching people in broad daylight….” His tone is temperate, but the words echo through the State Capitol’s Assembly chamber, the august backdrop for his speech. “Lining the pockets of the rich; crony capitalism at an unimaginable scale,” he goes on. “Rolling back...

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says he does not support President Trump’s proposal for Republicans to “take over” voting procedures in more than a dozen states and “nationalize” the midterm elections, declaring Trump’s call to action as blatantly unconstitutional.

Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey have prepared a draft defence agreement after nearly a year of talks, Pakistan's Minister for Defence Production said, a signal they could be seeking a bulwark against a flare-up of regional violence in the last two years. Raza Hayat Harraj told Reuters on Wednesday the potential deal between the three regional powers was separate from a bilateral Saudi-Pakistani accord announced last year. A final consensus between the three states is needed to complete the deal, he said.

White House border czar Tom Homan announced a drawdown of federal agents deployed to Minnesota on Wednesday, a change he said is made possible thanks to "unprecedented cooperation" from local law enforcement. Homan made the announcement during a Wednesday morning press conference in Minneapolis, saying 700 federal agents would be departing the Twin Cities. He added that the ultimate goal is a "complete drawdown" of federal presence. Homan highlighted meetings he had with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, urging them all to allow local jails to communicate with federal law enforcement about...
