The White House confirmed Tuesday that the Trump administration invoked a little-known provision of federal immigration law to arrest pro-Palestinian protester Mahmoud Khalil. The move grants Secretary of State Marco Rubio broad authority to declare individuals “deportable.” And, predictably, the radical left is furious. On Wednesday, a reporter thought he had cornered Rubio with a question, and ended up getting destroyed as a result. “President Trump appealed to a lot of Americans during his campaign on free speech arguments and not suppressing speech, especially from the government,” the reporter began. “But your revocation of the green card, to many is...

Ukraine will never recognize occupied territories as Russian and will defend its sovereignty, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a conversation with journalists in Saudi Arabia on March 12. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy affirmed that Ukraine will not violate its Constitution, emphasizing the country’s commitment to defend its sovereignty, independence, and land. "It’s very difficult to fight such an enemy, but we are fighting for our independence and will not recognize any territories occupied by Russia," he said. Zelenskyy also stressed that Ukraine will ensure Russia's crimes are never forgotten. On March 10, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested that...

A Nasa-SpaceX mission that aimed to clear the way for two stranded astronauts to get back to earth has been postponed. The Falcon 9 launch from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station was put back due to a hydraulic ground issue. There is another possible launch opportunity on Thursday. The rocket aimed to fly four new crew members to the International Space Station (ISS) and pave the way for the return of Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore. The two Nasa astronauts flew to space in June but were not able to return on a Boeing spacecraft after it was deemed...

The Heritage Foundation is proposing that the U.S. wind down military aid to Israel as part of a strategy to “re-orient its relationship” with the country over the next two decades, a notable stance for the prominent conservative think tank given the long and deep support for Israel among conservatives and Republicans. The Heritage report on moving the U.S.-Israel strategy, “From Special Relationship to Strategic Partnership,” was crafted by its defense experts and released on Wednesday. “Just as Israel once advanced from a financial assistance recipient to an economic partner of the United States, so, too, should it move from...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) responded to plans to eliminate the federal Department of Education by claiming that “Ruby Bridges needed to be escorted into those schools and the folks who went into Little Rock because we didn’t have an Education Department that ensured her civil rights were respected. That’s gone now.” And stated that “when Trump says it’s a bunch of bureaucrats interfering with your local schools, give local control, we’ll give you the money, it sounds pretty good. And we have not provided what that alternative looks like.” Walz said, “What...

In a barrage of pronouncements on Wednesday the Trump administration said it would repeal dozens of the nation’s most significant environmental regulations, including limits on pollution from tailpipes and smokestacks, protections for wetlands, and the legal basis that allows it to regulate the greenhouse gases that are heating the planet. But beyond that, Lee Zeldin, the administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, reframed the purpose of the E.P.A. In a two-minute-and-18-second video posted to X, Mr. Zeldin boasted about the changes and said his agency’s mission is to “lower the cost of buying a car, heating a home and running a...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “The Hill,” Hawaii Gov. Josh Green (D) reacted to the Trump administration’s push to turn education over to the states by stating, “I’ll take it” as long as states don’t lose money. He also stated that, among Democrats, “there’s a lot of concern that the changes are too quick and we don’t like to see anyone lose jobs.” Host Blake Burman asked, “So, it’s kind of interesting, because I essentially just heard the Republican president basically say, give it to the states, the governors are doing a great job. You’re a Democratic Governor. So, that’s...

MSNBC anchors described the attacks on Tesla dealerships across the nation as "protests," coming as Trump has stated that attacks on these dealerships would be treated as domestic terrorism. The anchor said, "you have this post claiming that protests at Tesla dealerships are illegal. He said today he would label violence against dealerships as domestic terrorism." After playing a clip of Trump’s remarks outside the White House while viewing a Tesla car, the anchor said, "So just to be clear, you protest a private company, you are labeled by this administration a domestic terrorist." On Feb. 25, a flurry of accurate Russian drone strikes knocked out dozens of Ukrainian vehicles along the main road to Sudzha, the town that is—or was—the main base for the 10,000-strong Ukrainian force occupying a significant, but quickly shrinking, salient in Kursk Oblast in western Russia. That was “the day you started worrying about Kursk,” wrote independent analyst Andrew Perpetua. Two weeks later, it seems the bulk of the Ukrainian force—Ukrainian army’s heaviest brigades—has evacuated Kursk and repositioned on the Ukrainian side of the border. “My friends managed to leave Kursk, avoiding encirclement,” one Ukrainian source claimed Monday. “It’s...

Even before Trump took office, he began laying out a long list of demands for both U.S. allies and adversaries—demands he believed would ultimately benefit American taxpayers. Despite facing resistance, with many critics calling him “Hitler,” the world is slowly falling in line with his requests. Canada backed down from an energy export surcharge threatened against the U.S., Mexico rounded up cartel members and handed them over to U.S. authorities, Zelensky agreed to a ceasefire, and Europe is ramping up its defense spending, assuming the financial responsibility for Ukraine’s defense. Panama withdrew from the Belt and Road Initiative and then...

Here’s a question to consider: What the heck has happened to the Democratic Party? You don’t have to be a political scientist to realize that Democrats have lost their way. It’s one thing to have ideological disagreements with the other side — it’s something else altogether to abandon not only traditional American values but common sense itself. Let’s start with their “basket of deplorables” mindset. Hillary Clinton said it out loud in 2016, but this apparently is how many Democratic elites see half the country. If you question their agenda, you’re not just wrong — you’re immoral. Look at the...

Democratic strategist James Carville declared Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” that the Trump administration was “in total meltdown.” Carville said, “Total meltdown!’ Carville said, “I think people are afraid to death. They see markets collapsing! They see people calling Mark Kelly a traitor. They see disorder everywhere. You know, Trump was going to bring the price of eggs down from day one.” He continued, “We can’t call the Enola Gay, the Enola Gay. I mean, what’s coming out of Washington would scare the living bejesus out of anybody, independent, Republican or Democrat. This administration is in total meltdown,...

Putin, dressed in fatigues, visited a command post near the front in Kursk late Wednesday to cheer on his military’s ejection of Ukrainian forces from much of the territory they had been occupying in the Russian border region.
