The National Earthquake Center reports an earth tremor this morning measuring 3.9 near Clinton, Kentucky in Hickman County. The earthquake at around 7:21 am was felt in four states and was the second in under 12 hours in the area. It was centered nearly on top of the Mississippi River. Dispatcher Marie Hart at Kentucky State Police post in Mayfield says it felt as if the floor was moving. She said it was like the floor turned to water for a few seconds. Also hot spots occurring at the Washibngton Idaho border.
