I have to agree that if Terri'd had a living will stating she did not want to die, none of this would be happening. But, in Terri's defense, she was very young at the time. Most people don't start thinking about living wills until they are much older. It's perfectly understandable why Terri wouldn't have thought that having a living will drawn up was a particularly high priority when she was only 26 years old.
