The baby had been in critical condition at Charleston Area Medical Center General Hospital, where the child was being treated for trauma to her lower extremities and bruising to her face and head. Prince George's County Police Officer Francesco Marlett is accused of beating his girlfriend's 3-year-old child unconscious after the child supposedly made him angry. Joshua Paul Young, 34 of Sissonville was arrested after the police responded to a domestic incident along Centennial Drive in Charleston around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.
