More than 2.5 million bottles of eye drops have been recalled by the manufacturer due to contamination by a foreign substance. Lupin Pharmaceuticals Inc. initiated the ongoing recall of Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension eye drops on June 6. The recall is classified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a Class II recall, which is the second-most serious type of recall.
