On Wednesday, Thailand’s House of Representatives voted 400-10 in favor of same-sex “marriage.” Only 10 lawmakers voted against the bill. Two abstained and three didn’t vote. The country’s Senate “rarely rejects any legislation that passes the lower house,” the Associated Press noted. Once it passes the Senate, it then must be approved by the majority-Buddhist country’s king. In addition to redefining marriage, the bill “extends all rights and protections contained in the Civil and Commercial Code to LGBTI+ persons,” the pro-LGBT group “Fortify Rights” said in a press release. The group’s lobbying to add the “gender-neutral language of ‘parent’ addition...

JK Rowling has called Scotland's new hate crime laws 'ludicrous', as she vowed not to delete social media posts describing a transgender TV presenter as 'just a man'. The Harry Potter author was cleared of any wrongdoing by police in England earlier this month over an online post about broadcaster India Willoughby, who complained she had been 'misgendered'. But Ms Rowling has now been targeted by activists who claim she could be prosecuted under the controversial new Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act, due to be introduced on April 1. The 58-year-old wrote on X that she would not...

Together with my good friend and occasional courtroom adversary David Boies, I am attempting to persuade a federal court to invalidate California's Proposition 8—the voter-approved measure that overturned California's constitutional right to marry a person of the same sex.... Many of my fellow conservatives have an almost knee-jerk hostility toward gay marriage. This does not make sense, because same-sex unions promote the values conservatives prize. Marriage is one of the basic building blocks of our neighborhoods and our nation. At its best, it is a stable bond between two individuals who work to create a loving household and a social...

Neither Timber Creek High School sophomore saw Keller ISD’s decision to cancel their performance of “The Laramie Project” — which included more than 70 students — coming. Students plan to voice their concerns to the school board Feb. 29. “I was a little blindsided,” Sampson, 16, told the Fort Worth Report. “It was a role I really wanted to perform. I was a little dejected when I heard it was being canceled.” “The Laramie Project” is a play that recounts the aftermath of the murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay University of Wyoming student who was beaten and tied to...

When the news broke that a young nonbinary girl in Oklahoma had died after being beaten in her school restroom, the outrage was instantaneous. The left and LGBTQ activists immediately targeted Republicans and conservatives, specifically LibsofTikTok's Chaya Raichik, to blame for the girl's death. They simply couldn't wait to turn this tragedy into political ammo. However, within a few days, as the school released a timeline statement, Dagny (Nex) Benedict's texts immediately after the incident were released and the Medical Examiner determined in a preliminary report that her death was not caused by injuries in the fight, the rhetoric should...

A Texas college has reinstated a professor who was reportedly terminated for teaching about the traditional, biological definition of gender. In a statement published Tuesday, the law firm First Liberty Institute announced that St. Philip's College adjunct professor Johnson Varkey has been reinstated after he was fired in January 2023 for rejecting aspects of LGBT ideology. The law firm filed a charge of discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission after the San Antonio, Texas-based historically black community college fired Varkey because the biology professor told his students that sex is determined by an individual's chromosomes. The professor was accused of...

Bud Light is staging a comeback with the launch of a flashy new Super Bowl LVIII ad after the beleaguered brand suffered huge sales losses in the wake of its disastrous marking campaign with Dylan Mulvaney. The beer brand, who is the official beer sponsor of the NFL, released a teaser of the commercial on Thursday which it said will expand its 'Easy to Drink, Easy to Enjoy' platform. 'The brand is back with a humorous spot introducing a new character to the Bud Light universe and some familiar faces from the platforms the brand has been passionate about for...

Last week, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, a Republican, vetoed a measure that would have barred minors from receiving harmful transgender interventions such as puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones. Amid intense backlash, he’s since tried to run damage control, signing an executive order on Friday that bans only trans surgeries for minors. We hope Ohio Republicans still override DeWine’s veto. There’s more going on behind the scenes of the medical establishment, however, especially as it relates to the “gender dysphoria” diagnosis. Gender dysphoria must be addressed in conjunction with contributing factors, such as adverse childhood experiences, but instead licensed clinicians rush...

As far back as 2019, Hallmark sparked controversy when homosexual activists began a crusade insisting that Hallmark stop trying to instill traditional conservative family values and start promoting sexual aberrancy in their Christmas movie line-up. The Dissenter covered the saga as Hallmark took heat for playing an ad with lesbians kissing and then took more heat when removing the ad.LGBTQ Nation—a pro-sodomy propaganda website—called on the Lifetime and Hallmark channels to produce and run queer romance movies for Christmas as part of a “diversity” campaign this season. After all, these channels even have movies produced for the “black community” and...

The Department of Education (DOE) has opened an investigation into an incident at a Wisconsin school involving a transgender woman student in a locker room with female students. The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, a conservative law firm, announced this week that it received a letter from the DOE saying that the department's Office of Civil Rights (OCR) was opening an investigation into a complaint it filed earlier this year involving a transgender student who undressed in front of female students in the Sun Prairie Area School District (SPASD). Newsweek reached out to the DOE via email for comment....

Silence in the Face of the Homosexual Infestation of the ClergyAs long as active clergy homosexual activity persists, the Church will continue to fracture and split, where eventually it will all but collapse and disappear.I saw the full-moon-sized face and squinted. I stared at his image for several seconds. Yes; it was him. In the closing frame of Bishop Joseph Strickland’s 2018 USCCB plenary assembly testimony and rebuke to bishops for their concealment of homosexual predator Theodore McCarrick sat a clergy member below the dais, facing the sea of bishops. He is seen below the dais as Bishop Strickland returns...

Campus Pride’s list of the worst colleges and universities for LGBTQ+ students in the United States has grown to 196. This year, three new campuses were added and updates were made to nearly one-third of the campuses on the list, documenting new instances of anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination. “The Worst List provides prospective college students and their families with crucial information about the most blatantly unsafe campuses in the country for LGBTQ+ people,” said Campus Pride Founder, CEO and Executive Director Shane Mendez Windmeyer. “It is absolutely necessary to bring attention to campuses that have a documented history of anti-LGBTQ+ actions or...

@PaulBrandITV EXCL: Latest reports that PM will drop conversion therapy ban follow intense lobbying by @miriam_cates who wrote to Tory MPs: “This Bill will anger our base, split the party and effectively put a Stonewall (gay rights group) charter into law. We have a matter of days to persuade No 10 to pull it.” MPs opposed will meet on Monday and are trying to see PM face to face to make their concerns heard. Conservative Party is deeply divided over the matter of banning conversion therapy. No10 simply say wait for Kings Speech.

Former President Barack Obama once wrote that he fantasized about having sexual relations with other men, biographer David Garrow said in an interview published on Wednesday. The former president expressed his fantasies in a letter to a girlfriend at the time, Garrow told Tablet magazine in the interview. That letter has been redacted and is currently in the possession of Emory University, according to Garrow.

There was a time when comedy was free to do or say just about anything as long as it made the audience laugh. Not anymore. The late-night comedy shows are no longer “set-up – the punchline,” they are “complain about the other side – applause line.” They are nightly mini-political conventions so afraid of straying from anything their audience finds agreeable that they’re boring. Same thing with movies and stand-up comedy; they’re all wildly predictable because participants aren’t free, either by fear or choice, to take the ballsy risks that made those professions worthy of admiration. It’s pathetic. But there...
