<p>Wayne Morgan, the corrections officer shot outside the Roane County Courthouse Tuesday morning, has died of his injuries at UT Medical Center.</p>
<p>According to a Tennesseee Corrections official speaking with the Knoxville News Sentinel, Jennifer Hyatte, wife of 34-year-old inmate George Hyatte shot Morgan three times with a shotgun Tuesday morning. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of the courthouse.</p>
