<title>Carney: Obama Not Understood Because He Spoke In &#x26;#x22;Shorthand&#x26;#x22; Since He Is A Law Professor</title>
<link>https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2868688/posts</link>
<description>&#x26;#x3C;p&#x26;#x3E;White House press secretary Jay Carney tells the press corps that President Obama&#x26;#x27;s attack on the Supreme Court was misunderstood because he was speaking in &#x26;#x22;shorthand&#x26;#x22; since he is a former professor of law.&#x26;#x3C;/p&#x26;#x3E;

&#x26;#x3C;p&#x26;#x3E;Henry: The president is a former constitutional law professor. One of his professors is Laurence Tribe. He now says, in his words, the president &#x26;#x201C;obviously misspoke earlier this week&#x26;#x201D;, quote &#x26;#x201C;he didn&#x26;#x2019;t say what he meant and having said that in order to avoid misleading anyone, he had to clarify it.&#x26;#x201D; I thought yesterday you were saying repeatedly that he did not misspeak. What do you make of the president&#x26;#x2019;s former law professor saying he did?&#x26;#x3C;/p&#x26;#x3E;
