  • Will The Bizarre Trend Of Lionizing Democrat Losers Ever End?

    The Federalist ^ | May 20, 2020 | Tristan Justice
The Washington Post's glowing profile of Stacey Abrams last week is just the latest effort of legacy media lionizing failed Democratic candidates. The Washington Post ran a glowing profile of failed Democrat Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams Thursday that better fits a paid campaign advertisement than a close and critical look at a potential vice president. In the Post’s cheerleading piece aptly headlined, “The Power of Stacey Abrams,” the legacy outlet paints a gallant portrait of a woman who has never won a statewide election as a progressive superhero ready to heed her own calls to serve in the nation’s...
  • VIDEO: Don Lemon Goes Absurdly BERSERK Over Trump's Wednesday Night Address

VIDEO Don Lemon went BERSERK following President Trump's address to the nation on Wednesday night because his Never Trumper guest, former Ohio governor John Kasich, would not criticize the speech. Lemon acted like a mental case because he didn't like a clarification that the announced travel ban from Europe would not include U.S. citizens. His tantrum over this was made to look even more ridiculous when Lemon admitted that he didn't think the clarification was terrible. At least we won't need a testing kit to detect Lemon's severe TDS since it is obviously out in the open.

CNN anchor Don Lemon had a "total meltdown" according to critics on Wednesday night after a guest on his show told him that President Trump's coronavirus address from the Oval Office was "fine." Lemon, who has repeatedly insisted that he is 'not a partisan,' had on former 2016 presidential candidate-turned-CNN contributor John Kasich to discuss the latest developments in the Trump administration's handling of the coronavirus outbreak. The anchor accused Trump of "misrepresenting" the travel ban that was set on Europe after the White House offered clarification on what was affected. "Look, I watched the address tonight and I thought...

If you’re like most people, you’ve probably forgotten about John Kasich. Hard to blame you. People don’t really get much more forgettable than John Kasich. . . . Kasich’s website says Kasich for America is dedicated to “[returning] civility and decency to our national discussion.” Keep sending Kasich money and you can be part of Making America Decent Again.
  • ‘Never Trump’ Republicans backing Joe Biden in NH primary, emails show (Kasich crew)

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Embittered “Never Trump” Republicans tied to former Ohio Gov. John Kasich have secretly schemed to assist Joe Biden’s campaign - because they think he’s the only Democrat who can beat the president and help them get “revenge,” The Post has learned. Emails obtained by The Post show that two top staffers from Kasich’s failed, 2016 primary campaign and Ohio’s former GOP chairman, a Kasich ally, were among those involved in efforts to boost support for the former vice president in last week’s botched Iowa caucus and Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary. Funding for the plan came largely from...

Former Senator and Secretary of State John Kerry (D-Mass.) is launching a new bipartisan coalition of world leaders and celebrities to push for an active strategy against climate change on Sunday. Dubbed "World War Zero," the activist group's goal is to unite "unlikely allies with one common mission: making the world respond to the climate crisis the same way we mobilized to win World War II," according to its website. Headlining the group are former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, former governors Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Kasich, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sting and Ashton Kutcher, the New York Times reports. Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sting and Ashton Kutcher round out the roster of more than 60 founding members.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” former Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) said Republican lawmakers should be calling for the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump to continue. Cooper asked, “Governor, Kasich what’s if going to take for other Republicans on the Hill to actually speak their minds on this? Assuming that there are some who, you know, believe what the president did was wrong that it was wrong to ask China to investigate the Bidens, a repressive regime like China not known for their fair and impartial investigations at the very least, is it going to take just...

CNN anchor Don Lemon on Monday asked Ohio governor-turned-CNN commentator John Kasich if he was "confused" by the transcript of President Trump's call with the Ukrainian president and then went on to suggest that he's a Trump "apologist." Lemon insisted that "anybody with half a brain" knows what Trump was saying to President Volodymyr Zelensky after reading the transcript and called it "obvious." "Wait, wait, wait, you can't say stuff like that," Kasich reacted. "You can't say that."

JOHN KASICH: It's all very, it's a terrible situation in terms of that transcript, Alisyn, but the question is, does one phone call, at this point in time, lead to impeachment? Mitch McConnell says it's laughable. I mean, he is the Senate leader. You know, we have the gentlemen you just quoted from Ohio, Mike Turner says, you know, it's not OK. I think it's absolutely worth condemning. And, by the way, let me point out, Alisyn, there is nobody, no one inside the Republican Party who has fought harder against Donald Trump than I have. Not personally, but against...

John Kasich has a reputation for being vehemently opposed to President Donald Trump. In fact, when the Republicans nominated Trump in Cleveland in 2016, the governor of Ohio at the time, Kasich, couldn't even be bothered to show up at the venue. Therefore it would be not be unusual if CNN's New Day host Alyisyn Camerota expected to hear a sympathetic reaction to the impeachment of Trump from Kasich on Friday. However, imagine her surprise when Kasich poured cold water on the subject of impeachment. Camerota provided some pushback but the real entertainment value of the segment is watching the...

TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I have to say one thing, one more thing, one more time. I do not like -- and I've got a Reuters story: "Marco Rubio Emerges Champion of Battered Republican Establishment." Another Reuters story, headline: "Republican Cruz Calls Iowa Win a Victory for Conservative Grassroots." I do not like, speaking for myself, I don't like this idea that Marco Rubio is all of a sudden being labeled as an establishment candidate. DES MOINES — Democratic presidential candidates descended on Iowa in a flurry of activity this weekend, attending the annual Wing Ding dinner and speaking at the Iowa State Fair, meeting as many voters as they could and kicking off the primary season in earnest. Top-tier candidates like Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders attracted huge crowds who followed their every move as they ate corn dogs and looked at the cow made of butter. And then, more quietly, there was Bill Weld. Weld, the former governor of Massachusetts, arrived at the fair Sunday morning as a drizzly rain started to...

RUSH: If Republicans… If Donald Trump, if Republicans follow the advice of the Never Trumpers out there today — if they follow the advice of the Drive-By Media — apologizing for Trump, distancing themselves from Trump, throwing Trump overboard, condemning Trump… If they do any of that, they’re gonna all end up like John Kasich. They’re gonna all end up marginalized like Kasich or McCain or Mitt Romney. Republicans have long pretended that politeness could act as a cover for being afraid, and it still survives to this day. The primary identity of the Never Trumpers is that they are...

Left-wing actress turned activist Alyssa Milano thinks former Florida governor and failed Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush should “seriously” consider launching a presidential bid against President Trump. “If [I] were @JebBush, I’d seriously be considering a run,” Milano said to her 3.6 million Twitter followers. The tweet could signal hesitancy among Democrats. While over 20 candidates are vying to challenge Trump in 2020, some Democrats – such as Milano – are actively hoping for a Republican to successfully primary the president as well. Noted Never Trumper and former Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) teased the possibility of challenging President Trump...

Former Ohio governor John Kasich has sent mixed signals about whether he will launch a primary challenge to President Trump for the 2020 Republican presidential nomination. Now a senior political commentator for CNN, Kasich says he has bigger things on his mind. You said recently [about challenging Trump]: “There’s no path right now for me. ... I’ve never gotten involved in a race that I didn’t think I could win.” Then you tweeted, “While the path looks tough, all of my options are on the table.” What factors are you considering before you make the final decision? Whether there’s a...

Never has there been a presidential race as sprawling and wide-open as the 2020 Democratic primary. It would be a landscape entirely without a map, except that a small handful of battle-hardened veterans have navigated similar terrain before. At the kickoff of the primary debate season four years ago, no fewer than 16 candidates were jockeying for position in the largest Republican presidential field in history—only to end up being mowed down by Donald J. Trump in what became a slaughterhouse of a campaign. What’s in store for this year’s Democrats? To get an insider’s view, POLITICO Magazine invited four...

A former campaign adviser for John Kasich has registered as a foreign agent to lobby against sanctions on Russia despite being a long-time critic of the Kremlin for interfering in U.S. politics, according to a report. John Weaver was the top strategist on the 2016 presidential campaign of Kasich, the Republican former governor of Ohio who has frequently been at odds with President Trump. Weaver claims he accepted a six-month contract worth $350,000, plus expenses, to work for the foreign power because he wanted to defend America against what he described as Trump's “dangerous” policies. The former Kasich aide signed...
