The photo's caption reads: "A sniper loyal to Shiite cleric Moqtada al Sadr fires towards U.S. positions [emphasis added ours] in the cemetery in Najaf, Iraq." Following that was this critque by Michelle McNally: "Right there with the Mahdi army. Incredible courage."
