<description>This past Wednesday, the New York Times took the opportunity to praise their photographers and included the photo below by Joao Silva. The photo&#x26;#x27;s caption reads: &#x26;#x22;A sniper loyal to Shiite cleric Moqtada al Sadr fires towards U.S. positions [emphasis added ours] in the cemetery in Najaf, Iraq.&#x26;#x22; Following that was this critque by Michelle McNally: &#x26;#x22;Right there with the Mahdi army.
