JEFFERSON - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has completed its ten-month look into activities at the Jefferson Police Department. Special prosecutor Rick Malone says agents are still drafting a report of their findings and that he expects the report by the end of the week. Malone said Monday there is a "distinct possibility" a grand jury will lodge criminal charges in the case, but he declined to say who might be charged. (end excerpt)
