COVID is here to stay. We better get used to seeing it around because like the tides, it will come and go. If you’re vaccinated, the chances of you dying or suffering from severe illness is virtually erased. You can still get it. That’s the big lie that was peddled by the Biden administration. Remember in July, get the shot and take the mask off. Well, wrong—Omicron is raging like the Great Chicago Fire. Is it less lethal? Yes, but it’s more contagious. I’ll take that mutation. Everyone is going to get COVID. It’s only a matter of time. It’s...

The blast at a Texas oil refinery early Thursday will probably push already high gasoline prices even higher — although not immediately. The blast and resulting fire at the ExxonMobil plant in the Houston-area city of Baytown, Texas, injured at least four workers. The accident could hamper output at one of America’s largest refineries for months, weighing on gasoline supply at at time when US refining capacity has already been reduced, said Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst for the Oil Price Information Service. “They’re not going to have all systems go for a couple of quarters,” he said. The average...

What the local sheriff called a "major industrial accident" led to a huge fire early Thursday at an ExxonMobil refinery in Baytown, Texas, near Houston. Three were airlifted out and one was removed by ambulance. Gonzalez said there didn't appear to be any need for anyone to evacuate or shelter-in-place. ExxonMobil said in a statement that its "fire teams are working to extinguish the fire" and it was trying to account for everyone who...

It’s a start. In run-off elections for Houston ISD board trustees, two conservatives defeated their incumbent Democrat opponents. National politics look to have influenced voters as they rejected hot button issues like Critical Race Theory and face mask mandates in Houston public schools. Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has shared an unfounded conspiracy theory that the deaths at a Travis Scott concert earlier in the month were part of a satanic ritual. The rapper November 5 set at his Astroworld event left nine people dead and several more fighting for their lives. Since then, dozens of lawsuits have been filed and a slew of questions remain unanswered about what went wrong. On Friday (November 12), Ace took to his Facebook to share a photo of what appears to be his right foot covered in a sock emblazoned with the words "Not Today Satan",...

Mary Bowden, an ear, nose and throat doctor at Houston Methodist Hospital, says vaccine mandates are wrong. It's a sentiment she has tweeted about numerous times this month, even declaring last week that she is "shifting my practice" to focus on treating unvaccinated patients. Bowden has also used her personal Twitter account to promote the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin as a treatment for the coronavirus, despite warnings from public health officials advising people not to take it. But those opinions have come at a professional cost. Bowden, who recently joined the hospital's medical staff, has been suspended for "spreading dangerous misinformation"...

It pains me to see the sinfulness and moral treachery of our youth in America today. A notable example of this was during the Astroworld concert in Houston, Texas, which brought to light just how low our nation has fallen. At least eight lives were tragically lost, with over 100 injured. All in the name of worshipping celebrities as if they are deities. Where has our faith gone? Famed rapper Travis Scott hosted his notorious Astroworld event in Houston amid the jubilation of tens of thousands of fans. They flocked to Texas to walk through the massive gaping mouth of...
