In a briefing Tuesday morning, Richard Hecht, a spokesman for the IDF, said Israel had nearly finished evacuating all Israeli towns on the border with Gaza as the military makes preparations for a ground offensive in the Palestinian enclave ruled by Hamas. Hecht said there was no order for an invasion as yet, but that "we are building infrastructure for future operations."
