An industrial tribunal on Thursday hears the case of four Muslim former security guards at Orly airport who say they were discriminated against when sacked for refusing to shave off their beards in the wake of the November 2015 terror attacks in Paris. Soon after those jihadist attacks that left 130 dead, management from the Securitas security firm summoned several male staff members working for it at Orly, all of them Muslim and all of them bearded. They were told that with passengers on edge, it would be appreciated if they could all trim or shave off their beards to...

The Baptist General Convention of Texas (Texas Baptists) is launching a formal review of its 140-year relationship with Baylor University following concerns over a student-organized event featuring LGBT advocates, including the president of the Human Rights Campaign. On Friday, Texas Baptists Executive Director Julio Guarneri sent an email to the convention’s constituency stating that hosting speakers who are Christian, identify as gay and practice LGBT advocacy at a university-approved event is inconsistent with the convention’s views.“While we value the deep, historic bond Baylor University and Texas Baptists have shared for 140 years, and the present ministry taking place on campus through...

On Saturday, Democrat Pete Buttigieg appeared at a town hall in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He’s been making other stops around the U.S. as he tries to get Democrat voters engaged for the midterm elections in November. These stops also double as the groundwork for winning the Democrat Party’s 2028 Presidential primary. Being a town hall, Buttigieg took questions from the crowd. One woman said she’s worried about something entirely imaginary. Well, she didn’t phrase it like that. She truly believes Republicans want to round up trans and gay Americans and imprison them in concentration camps. Lord, help us! SNIP

The Supreme Court agreed Monday to review a Colorado law that requires preschools receiving taxpayer money to enroll children of same-sex couples — setting up an important First Amendment showdown at the high court that pits religious rights against LGBTQ families. At the same time, the court declined to hear another high-profile case involving a Massachusetts couple who said their school began treating their middle school child as genderqueer against their wishes. After years of allowing religious schools in some settings to receive state funding alongside secular schools, the 6-3 conservative court will now decide what to do when school...

A sixth-grade educator withdrew from consideration for Minnesota’s Teacher of the Year award after photos of him dressed in leather bondage while participating in an XXX-rated BDSM performance resurfaced online. Thomas Rosengren, a teacher and theater director in the Atwater Cosmos Grove City public school system, was named one of 11 finalists for the coveted award last week. On Monday, though, Education Minnesota tweaked its list, adding a brief note that Rosengren “has withdrawn from consideration.” Alpha News Minnesota reported that the sudden elimination came just four days after it reached out to Education Minnesota inquiring about damning photos that...

A millionaire New York Democrat running for Congress dropped his bid Thursday as he faced a firestorm of criticism for resurfaced social media posts about kiddie porn and sex with a 17-year-old — but he claimed he made his decision for altruistic reasons. Peter Chatzky was running in a crowded Democratic Party primary for the 17th House District in the northern suburbs to challenge Republican Rep. Mike Lawler. “Today, I am suspending my campaign,” said Chatzky, a software executive and deputy mayor in the Westchester County village of Briarcliff Manor. FIRST ON FOX: One of the largest school districts in the country is facing allegations that it lets teachers decide if parents are sufficiently "supportive" enough to tell them about their child's desire to switch genders. Trump-aligned America First Legal (AFL) filed a formal complaint against Montgomery County Public Schools, which is in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., with the Departments of Justice and Education, alleging it has been violating the constitution and other federal law through its "Gender Identity in Montgomery County Public Schools" handbook. AFL goes on to allege the school district repeatedly instructs staff to condition parental...

The Department of Education announced on Monday that it has rescinded Biden-era resolution agreements to several schools that imposed the previous administration’s “radical transgender agenda.” The Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) uses resolution agreements to require schools to resolve noncompliance with federal civil rights laws. The Department said previous Democrat administrations “distorted the law contrary to its plain meaning to police discrimination on the basis of ‘gender identity,’ not sex, and imposed resolution agreements with no legal foundation, but rather, based on an ideologically-driven interpretation of Title IX.” The Department said previous administrations admonished school districts with Title...

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WSMV) - A petition has been launched in an effort to remove a Washington County Board of Education member and the district’s superintendent over comments made toward a student during an early-April meeting. During a BOE meeting that was streamed on YouTube on April 2, board member Keith Ervin can be heard saying the following to a student he was sitting next to: “God, you’re hot. Do you know that? Where do you go to school at?” Directly after Ervin’s comments to the student, laughter can be heard throughout the meeting and then the meeting continues on, seemingly...

Gov. Gavin Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom is a filmmaker whose documentaries have been seen by millions —but that didn’t happen purely because of talent. Siebel Newsom leaned on her powerful hubby and his education board to push preachy flicks about “toxic masculinity” into classrooms, casting her husband as an enlightened Democratic savior —all while raking in up to $300,000 annually through her nonprofit, The Representation Project, and for-profit outfit Girls Club Entertainment. “I turned the lens on boys and men and looked at the boy crisis in America and how we were failing our boys and men with this...

MAZE@mazemoore·21hThis scandal should be revisited and investigated further. Be sure to watch both videos in this thread.Gavin Newsom's wife has made a few documentaries. They shouldn't be called documentaries because they are just trashy movies bashing men and bashing America. Here's where it gets interesting. In 2023 the watchdog group Open The Books discovered that some of her documentaries were being streamed in the California public schools and that the Newsom's made millions by charging the schools to play them.In other words, the Newsoms made the schools force the kids to watch these disgusting movies created by Newsom's wife, and they...

Newly released emails reveal how the Biden administration’s Department of Education (ED) in 2022 attempted to form a secret parent advisory council to give teachers unions and left-aligned activist and parent groups power over federal education policy. Under former President Joe Biden, the department created the National Parents and Families Engagement Council ostensibly as a “partnership between parents and families, educators, district leaders, and entire school communities to support student success.” But behind the scenes, the short-lived council was composed of hand-picked activist organizations that focused on radical racial, gender and immigrant-focused ideologies. As Defending Education notes, “not a single...
