A 35-year-old man died from a blood clot in his lung ten days after a tattoo on his leg became infected... John Chillingworth, of Bungay, Suffolk, was given the tattoo on his right calf by his girlfriend as a birthday present. His leg was swollen and red within two days and a scab formed.
