Fulton County, Georgia's District Attorney Fani Willis just seems to keep finding trouble. Earlier this past week, we reported new information on the whistleblower who came forward alleging misuse of federal grant funds in Willis' office. Whistleblower Amanda Timpson has said that when she informed Willis about the situation, she was subsequently terminated. In the past week, the DOJ said that they found "inconsistencies" and "reporting discrepancies" in Willis' use of the federal grant money. ... A Georgia father was sentenced to 50 years in prison after he mixed antifreeze into his 18-day-old daughter's breastmilk in order to poison her. Curtis Jack was arrested in October 2020, after his infant daughter, named Madison, became sick. She tested positive for ethylene glycol — a chemical found in antifreeze. A Georgia inmate serving a life sentence built two bombs in prison and mailed them to the DOJ headquarters in DC and a federal courthouse in Alaska, federal prosecutors said. According to a grand jury indictment, 55-year-old David Cassady reportedly put both bombs in the mail from prison in Tattnall County in January 2020.
