NEW YORK — Now that his largely invisible network has suddenly been flooded by fans of President Donald Trump, Newsmax television personality Grant Stinchfield is puffing out his chest. “They don't know what to do with all of us,” Stinchfield said on the air Monday night. “We're killing it here on Newsmax with a tactic they've never tried. It's called the truth, the stone-cold truth, and once you get a taste of it, you will never tolerate being lied to again.” In many cases, the opposite is true. Newsmax, the television arm of a conservative website, has reported falsely that...

The prime-time host said on Monday that his team received "a lot of calls asking" if he plans to depart the network following posts on social media over the weekend with what appeared to be screenshots of Carlson saying on Parler that he was leaving Fox News. Politifact determined the screen shot, which appeared to show Carlson saying he was joining Newsmax in a month, to be a fake.

A Milwaukee news anchor was suspended for penning a social media post asking why Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek died instead of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). Ted Perry, WITI’s head anchor for its 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. broadcasts, was suspended by the station for writing a Facebook post on his personal page in the aftermath of Trebek’s death from pancreatic cancer at age 80, the New York Post reported. “2020 takes Alex Trebek but leaves Mitch McConnell?” Perry wrote in the since-deleted post, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported. “Just end already.” The 56-year-old anchor shut down both his personal...

Class A shares of Fox News parent-company Fox Corp. dropped as much as 6% on Thursday as President Donald Trump retweeted support for its rival right-leaning news networks Newsmax and OANN. Some of Trump's Thursday retweets include: "#FoxNews is dead," "Fox has been completely unfair and untruthful. Moving to Newsmax," and "Newsmax and Oann are great alternatives [to Fox News]." Those retweets were then followed up by a direct message from Trump, who tweeted, ".@FoxNews daytime ratings have completely collapsed. Weekend daytime even WORSE. Very sad to watch this happen, but they forgot what made them successful, what got them...

Tuesday night saw Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Laura Ingraham finish in the top 5 of all cable TV shows as conservatives stand by them. But the rest of the Fox News schedule trailed. CNN held 12 of the top 17 shows on cable all day, according to Show Buzz Daily. That meant from noon to midnight, no CNN show was out of the top 17 -- out of all shows on cable. A week after spiking the ball for Biden, Fox is losing to the worst network in TV history. Well, everyone on cable is. And to be fair, the...

Fox has come under the gun for how they’ve dealt with the election including calling Arizona early for Joe Biden early on Election Day when indeed the count is still ongoing and the state may yet flip to President Donald Trump. Whatever they were thinking, they were obviously wrong to call it early, even if Trump ultimately were to lose the state. That wasn’t all they did, as we reported. They had Sandra Smith caught on a hot mic absolutely mocking a guest, acting as though it wasn’t reasonable to question any of the results of the election or the...

I was watching Fox News White House Correspondent John Roberts talking about current events, but when he started to talk about the voter fraud findings, the screen went totally black with no sound for about 5 seconds and when it came back on...someone else was talking!!

The FOX hit comedy Family Guy imagined President Donald Trump, his wife Melania, and Vice President Mike Pence hanging themselves in prison in an episode that aired just after Tuesday’s presidential election. The November 8th episode of Family Guy, titled “La Famiglia Guy,” began with Peter and Lois Griffin reading newspapers announcing Trump’s suicide.

Over the summer I had written about why Fox News was not in a good position as the television ecosystem shifted to streaming. (TL;DR: Fox is the only major cable or network news service not affiliated with a major Flix (multibillion dollar subscription streaming service), e.g., MSNBC has Peacock, CBS News has Paramount+, ABC News has Hulu. And so as cable audiences shrink, they do not seen to have a Plan B.) But Fox News has another problem: a small right wing service called NewsMax that has done a much better job of distributing its TV programming online via the...

Newsmax also outpaced Fox Business in primetime, with 205,000 viewers compared to 138,000. The Nielsen rating only tells part of the story. OTT viewership on platforms like YouTube added an additional 100,000 per minute live viewers tuned into Newsmax TV on Wednesday. "We're in less cable homes, our channel position is usually not...

"Fox News has already called Arizona, it's caused a lot of heartburn in the Republican party, but I did check in with our decision desk earlier today and they're not wavering. They say that our call on Arizona is right, which puts him at 264 [electoral votes].

President Donald Trump and Fox News have a complicated relationship. Election Day did not help. The cable news channel that kick-started Trump’s political career was suddenly in the position of signaling its potential end. The network’s early call of Arizona on Tuesday night for Joe Biden infuriated Trump and his aides, who reached out publicly and behind the scenes to Fox News executives about the call. The network held firm - even as two of its biggest stars, Laura Ingraham and Jeanine Pirro, attended Trump’s defiant early-morning speech in the East Room of the White House. The election-night split screen...
