Some of you may know about this gem, but I want to make sure every Firefox and Chrome user knows about the beauty of FR Tree View. I'm not taking credit for it, I don't know which FReeper wrote the software. But it's amazing! It makes following long, nested threads much easier. See a screen shot here: Click to enlarge

Note: Excerpting doesn't do this blog entry justice. Click on the link and read the whole thing. # March 18, 2010 Irony: Supporters of Taliban, al Qaeda Worried Rusty is Interfering in "Free Speech" SNIPPET: "Various members of the website also have online and real world associations with several indicted terrorists. For a time the Revolution Muslim website became the official propaganda outlet for convicted felon Shiekh Adbullah al-Faisal. Al Faisal was convicted of soliciting murder of Jews and American. Revolution Muslim labes pro-democracy Muslims as "apostates". Which is a big deal since traditional Islam supports the killing of apostates."...

It seems that the Muslims of NY based RevolutionMuslim.com, have smartened up a bit and changed their approach on spreading Islam. Instead of their usual hate preaching on the streets of NY, they have decided to start a community outreach program. Unfortunately they will recruit more members by doing this. To view this short video....

An Irish Islamic website which argues for the introduction of "Sharia" law in Ireland. Sharia refers to the "way" Muslims should live or the "path" they must follow. Sharia is derived from the sacred text of Islam (the Koran) and traditions gathered from the life of the Islamic prophet Mohammed. Sharia deals with many aspects of life, including crime, politics, economics, banking, business, contracts, family, sexuality, hygiene, and social issues. MPAC spokesman Liam Egan, who goes by the Muslim name Mujaahid, said the independent website was not affiliated with the Irish Council of Imams or any other Muslim organization here...

Richard Dawkins has something of a reputation for provoking the religious community, but it seems he may have underestimated the atheistic fervour of his own fanbase. Amidst a tsunami of vulgar and vitriolic comments, the 85,000-strong forum on his official website RichardDawkins.net had to be shut down this week. The implosion appears to have been provoked by an announcement on the website that discussion threads and responses would in future be tightly moderated to help curb irrelevant discussions, frivolous gossip and abuse. However, the announcement itself created such an explosion of ire that the planned 30-day switch-over period had to...

SNIPPET: "A buddy just sent me this link to RevolutionMuslim.com’s Abu Talha al-Amriki attempting to refute a report by West Point’s CTC in his recent essay, ”A Refutation Of The Claims Of West Point Saying That Al-Qa’ida Kills Mostly Muslims.” For background, RM is a pro-jihadist group of online guys – jihobbyists if you will – that used to be ‘e-mired’ (get it?) by Yousef al-Khattab. If you read my blog, you’ll know al-Khattab recently handed the reigns to Abdallah as-Sayf Jones. There are a number of other contributors to the site, including this “Abu Talha al-Amriki” (I guess his...

As one sister summed it up ever so bluntly, " If your culture goes against...

SNIPPET: "I had an interesting demonstration this evening from a hacker who goes by the handle “The Jester” or in so-called l33t speak, th3j35t3r which is his Twitter ID. Since January 1, The Jester has been systematically wreaking havoc with several websites he associates with Al Quiada and Jihadists via a Denial of Service attack delivered over the web through an anonimizer service. The Jester has been documenting his attacks against www.alemarah.info, www.radicalislam.org, islamicpoint.net, www.almaghrib.org, www.as-ansar.com, www.islamicnetwork.com, www.islamicawakening.com, www.ansarnet.info, since the beginning of 2010." Messages posted recently by prominent contributors to Islamist Web sites are seeking specific information on U.S. military targets in hopes of carrying out an attack on Navy ships in the Persian Gulf, according to a U.S.-based group that tracks such sites. One post on the jihadi forum Al-Falluja calls for information such as the “name of the particular naval unit to be targeted, its exact location, the number of troops on board the warship and their ranks, familial status, where their families live, the type of weapons the warship carries … and the number of nuclear bombs onboard,” reads a...

31 December 2009 “LIKE DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN” SNIPPET: “There is overlap in space if not in time between NW 253 bomber Abdulmutallab and various unsavory characters and websites. Perhaps it’s just a case of like-minded people moving through similar places at similar times in their lives, but then again, maybe Abdulmutallab came into contact with some of these people, particularly in what appears to be his critical period of radicalization in London circa 2005-2007. At this point all I have are suspicions and some interesting data points to share.”

The Illinois Republican Party is down, but a long way from being out. As our party rebuilds from the ground up, after a string of disappointing election days, now is the time for bloggers and other interested individuals to take part in the growth process. Illinois is the home state of Abraham Lincoln, and the birthplace of Ronald Reagan, two great Republican presidents. And remember, it wasn't so long ago, 1995 to be exact, when the Illinois GOP controlled each statewide office, both chambers of the General Assembly, and the Governor's Mansion. And the governor at the time, Jim Edgar,...

Islamist Campaign to Foster anti- U.S. Sentiment Using U.S. Web Forums Special Dispatch-Jihad & Terrorism Studies Project March 20, 2007 No. 1508 . As part of this endeavor, they have posted...

WASHINGTON - Campaign aides for the leading Democratic presidential candidates have been working together on how to keep their bosses apart, at least for a while. Representatives for Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama (news, bio, voting record) and 2004 vice presidential nominee John Edwards contacted Democratic National Committee executive direction Tom McMahon to request a meeting. The top advisers to Clinton and Obama then secretly came to McMahon's office together Wednesday and asked him to bring some order to the schedule of joint appearances. In the next three months, there are two candidate forums scheduled in Nevada, a...

Would any conservative or libertarian poster to this Board be interested in taking part in a project to build a website which would be a centralized resource center for our side in the political struggle? Some conservative and libertarian acquaintances of mine are planning to start a web site where anyone could go to find out the conservative and/or libertarian view(s) on practically anything. It would have both original essays and links to other sites, including this one, and PWIC. It would be invaluable for our side in on-line debates, for students writing term papers, for anyone wanting to write...

It appears the latest popular way to discredit those who publish opposing views on forums is to accuse them of being impostors, not really who they claim to be, the same person posting under several names, as though no two people could possibly share the same opinions. This has happened on a variety of sites on the internet. Moderators find it an easy way of doing away with people they don't like who stay within the rules. Whether it is on a TV forum, or a political forum, the trend seems to be the same. TV Heaven, a while back,...

Hey Freepers, Not to steal any thunder from FR but I wanted to let alll of you of a new web discussion forum that has been set up by the conservative student publication The Primary Source at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. We're pushing hard to get the campus involved (and start buying our idea), but maybe some of you with a spare couple minutes could show a sad bunch of liberal arts students what real blogging and and posting looks like. Thanks folks, Nick (Editor in Chief, Primary Source)

Just thought I would give all of you homeschoolers who might frequent the VegSource homeschooling boards a heads up. If you go to the link, you will see for yourself. I have not been to those boards in ages because the board owners are very anti-republican, anti-constitution, and above all, quite biased against those with right-leaning viewpoints. They ban 99.9% of anything that is of this viewpoint.
