The soldiers have been classified as missing in action. The remains are being flown on a U.S. Air Force plane to Japan. They'll go to the military's central identification lab in Hawaii after that. More than 8,100 U.S. soldiers remain unaccounted for from the 1950-1953 Korean War. U.S. search teams have recovered 159 sets of remains in North Korea since 1996.
