(Gray News) - More than 33,000 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup trucks are being recalled due to concerns over the stability control system. Chrysler reported the trucks may have been built with damaged front wheel bearing encoder rings. According to a notice posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, this can cause a loss of the wheel speed signal which could disable the electronic stability control. NHTSA reported a failure in the electronic stability control system when it is needed could cause the vehicle to crash. The recall impacts 2025 models produced between Oct. 13, 2023, and Aug. 11, 2024.
