  • DEF LEPPARD's VIVIAN CAMPBELL Doesn't Want To Be Associated With 'Clown' DONALD TRUMP

DEF LEPPARD guitarist Vivian Campbell says that he hopes that reports of his band being introduced by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at next month’s Iowa State Fair are untrue, because doesn’t want his name associated with “this clown.” CNN reported last Friday (July 17) that Trump will handle the introductory duties forDEF LEPPARD at August 15 concert at the State Fair Grandstand on the fairgrounds in Des Moines. But, according to Campbell, he has no knowledge of Trump making an appearance at DEF LEPPARD’s gig, which is also set to feature STYX and TESLA. “I really, really, really hope...

Def Leppard Concert | 6-16-05 | my favorite headache
Just wanted to post this because I have yet to attend a concert in 2004-2005 where there has not been one instance of Bush bashing. Just took in a Def Leppard concert with Tesla opening for them. Great show. Hit after hit after hit after hit. One of my favorite songs from Def Leppard has always been God's of War from their 14 million selling "Hysteria" (which had every song but two played tonight). Def Leppard obviously has waned in popularity over the years but they have always been about one thing...rock and roll and delivering it to their fans....

By Gail Mitchell LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Following a suicide attempt, R&B singer Houston has gouged out his eye while on an overseas performance junket.   A brief statement was released Wednesday by his Capitol Records label, saying only, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Houston during this tragic time." According to sources, the singer first attempted to jump out of a London hotel window last Thursday. Prevented from doing so by his security staff, Houston was locked in his room, at which time the injury occurred. No additional details as to his current condition or whereabouts have been disclosed....

The purpose of FreeRepublic.com's multiple message boards is to limit the topics for each board to particular topics. Posting the same message on all the boards defeats the purpose of multiple-boards for special topics. It is very annoying to see the same message on every bulletin board. PLEASE! DO THE READERS A FAVOR. STOP CROSS-POSTING YOUR MESSAGES!

This is not a joke. Talk about a free Def Leppard concert at a local Wal-Mart appears to be legitimate. ‘‘Ooohh,” said Kevin Fields of Fayetteville. ‘‘Where? What new Wal-Mart, and how do I get there?” The venue for the concert is the new Wal-Mart Supercenter which is slated to open Wednesday at the corner of Raeford and Gillis Hill roads. The store’s manager, Missi Keith, confirmed Monday that the band would be playing a free concert at 6 p.m. on July 31. Fields, a 37-year-old fan of ’80s music, said he has seen the band twice in Chapel Hill....
