A Darwinist Deconstructs the Declaration of Independence David Klinghoffer | @d_klinghoffer May 14, 2019 Stephen Meyer has written here about how the ideas framed by the Declaration of Independence, the “sources of our rights as citizens,” are rooted in design thinking. There is one source that is more basic than any other, yet that receives less than the attention it deserves. I refer to the idea that there is an intelligent creator who can be known by reason from nature, a key tenet underlying the Declaration of Independence — as well as, curiously, the modern theory of intelligent design. As...

Giving Up Darwin By: David Gelernter Download Article PDF Posted: May 1, 2019 This article appeared in: Volume XIX, Number 2, Spring 2019 Darwinian evolution is a brilliant and beautiful scientific theory. Once it was a daring guess. Today it is basic to the credo that defines the modern worldview. Accepting the theory as settled truth—no more subject to debate than the earth being round or the sky blue or force being mass times acceleration—certifies that you are devoutly orthodox in your scientific views; which in turn is an essential first step towards being taken seriously in any part...

ALACHUA, Fla. (AP) — A large, flightless bird native to Australia and New Guinea attacked and killed its owner when the man fell on his property in Florida, authorities said Saturday. The Alachua County Fire Rescue Department told the Gainesville Sun that a cassowary killed the man Friday on the property near Gainesville, likely using its long claws. The victim, whose name was not released, was apparently breeding the birds, state wildlife officials said.

Gender Dysphoria and Darwinism April 5, 2019 by Dr Jerry Bergman The belief that some people are born in bodies of the wrong sex was challenged by a recent scientific study claiming this condition amounted to what the researchers termed “rapid onset gender dysphoria.” Dysphoria means “a state of dissatisfaction, anxiety, restlessness, or fidgeting”—a disorder, in other words, implying an unnatural state, as opposed to euphoria, “a state of intense happiness and self-confidence.” The finding would appear to agree with Genesis 1:27 and 2:24, quoted by Jesus, who said, “From the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and...

When Charles Darwin finished The Origin of Species, he thought that he had explained every clue, but one. Though his theory could explain many facts, Darwin knew that there was a significant event in the history of life that his theory did not explain. During this event, the “Cambrian explosion,” many animals suddenly appeared in the fossil record without apparent ancestors in earlier layers of rock. In Darwin’s Doubt, Stephen C. Meyer tells the story of the mystery surrounding this explosion of animal life—a mystery that has intensified, not only because the expected ancestors of these animals have not been...

Darwinism Inspired China’s Communist Holocaust: The Horrors of Communist China’s Holocaust Inspired by Darwinism March 18, 2019 | Jerry Bergman by Jerry Bergman PhD As history separates us from Darwin’s death, the media is more willing to expose the harm of his ideas. This, plus the release of once-sealed records have revealed a great deal about the atrocities of recent history. This is the case of the horrors of Mao Zedong in Communist China.[1] That Darwin was a major influence in communist China should not surprise us. Darwin not only supported the survival-of-the-fittest ideology, but even divided humanity into distinct...

The sea bed in the deep ocean during the Cambrian period was thought to have been inhospitable to animal life because it lacked enough oxygen to sustain it. But research published in the scientific journal Geology reveals the existence of fossilized worm tunnels dating back to the Cambrian period 270 million years before the evolution of dinosaurs. The discovery, by USask professor Brian Pratt, suggests that animal life in the sediment at that time was more widespread than previously thought. The worm tunnels—burrows where worms lived and munched through the sediment—are invisible to the naked eye. But Pratt “had a...

Finally, One of the Evils of Darwinism Has Gone Mainstream by Dr Jerry Bergman 2-24-19 A new PBS documentary, The Eugenics Crusade, begins with Darwin, who inspired his cousin, Francis Galton, who spent his life developing Darwinian eugenics with the hope that it would be used to make both better people and a better society. To do this, Francis Galton was inspired by the “work of his half cousin Charles Darwin [who] believed that evolution was this natural...

A 1990’s court ruling allows German municipalities to evict tenants to accommodate refugees if other options are exhausted. The senior German reportedly does not understand the municipality’s demands.” 74-year-old Klaus Roth states forlornly: “I put a lot of money and work into the apartment. I renovated it from scratch all by myself.” Note also that “Roth also has trouble moving after two intervertebral disc surgeries.” Like so many, Klaus Roth thought he was being kind,...

Happy Darwin Day, Japan: Look What He Did to You Japanese Genius Racist Masanobu Tsuji by Jerry Bergman, PhD February 12, 2019 Introduction The discussion of racism, especially against people of color, has been much in the news lately in America. The contribution Darwinism has made in the West to racism has been well-documented. One recent contribution, a 778-page, small-print book by Leon Zitzer, massively documented, is the most extensive tome ever published on the subject.[1] New research regularly adds to our understanding of the contribution of Darwinian eugenics to the racism problem in history. Just this week I received...

Darwinists Unhappy About Trump Fetal-Tissue Ban September 29, 2018 | David F. Coppedge Darwinism cheapens human life. Here’s a huge societal debate about the consequences. The Trump administration has launched a “sweeping review” of fetal tissue use, reports Nature. It cancelled a contract between the government and a fetal tissue lab, and will review all forthcoming requests by scientists to engage in fetal tissue research. Pro-life leaders are exhilarated. It’s about time, they think, three years after the Center for Medical Progress shocked the public with undercover videos of Planned Parenthood showing blatant disregard for human life and for U.S....

A Connecticut woman suffered serious injuries Thursday night after she mistakenly lit a stick of dynamite thinking it was a candle during a power outage. Authorities said the 30-year-old mother of two got involved in the “tragic accident” when her family’s Bridgeport home lost power during a thunderstorm Thursday night and she “attempted to light” what she believed were candles in the basement left behind by the previous residents, CBS Boston reported. The family attempted to purchase emergency lighting at a Home Depot store, but discovered the store had closed. Out of desperation, they decided to rummage through their basement...

The summer's explosive dance challenge has recently taken a dangerous turn. It's the "In My Feelings" challenge — also known as the "Kiki" challenge — and one Iowa teen found herself in the hospital after attempting it. The original "In My Feelings" challenge started innocently enough, with people filming themselves dancing to Drake's new song, "In My Feelings." But since the trend took off about a month ago, it's escalated to a new, dangerous level, with some people recording themselves jumping out of moving cars to dance. Police and safety officials in communities around the world have issued warnings urging...

Keynote Speech at Biology Conference Falsifies Major Claim of Darwinism July 19, 2018 by Sal Cordova Hailed as “the greatest biologist since Darwin,” Ronald Fisher is credited as author of “biology’s central theorem” what is known as Fisher’s Fundamental Theorem of Natural Selection.[i] An informally stated corollary of Fisher’s theorem is that a population will continually increase in fitness. However, for decades it has been noted that many populations are declining in fitness. Geneticists such as Michael Lynch[ii], Alexey Kondrashov[iii], Bryan Sykes[iv], and many others have been warning the human genome is crumbling and the damage is likely irreversible. Thus,...

Melissa Brunning was standing on the stern of a yacht, feeding fish to a group of tawny nurse sharks, when one sank its teeth into her finger and dragged her overboard. Mobile phone video footage of the incident shows her screaming as she fell into the water. “It happened so quickly. All I could really focus on was the fact that my finger is gone.
