What appeared to be a transvestite Code Pink protester joined the Valerie Plame hearing wearing a t-shirt with the words “Impeach Bush” written on it. The protester made several signals with his/her fingers, one is shown in the still shot.

Moonbats Get Stuck in Mud, Fail to Show for Protest! At least that's one excuse. We don't really know what happened, but the anarchists and spoiled brats from the Encampment to Stop the War steered clear of Walter Reed today. We declared Victory! around 5pm and packed up our flags and signs... then it started to rain ... and the "Encampment" inhabitants most certainly were not happy campers. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Actually, these cheapskates were trying to get in out of the rain by getting arrested rather than pay for a hotel room. *sigh* Cindy-True-Supporter and Mike Sparling made several reconnaissance missions around...

I feel bad for Nancy Pelosi, AND her neighbors. Anti-war activists from the group Code Pink have been giving her the same treatment the president gets at his Crawford, Texas, ranch. Camping on her San Francisco lawn, they’re demanding she cut off funds to the troops in Iraq. Besides coolers and mattresses, protesters have brought along a giant paper mache statue of Mahatma Gandhi, who is pretty much the symbol of the anti-war movement. Code Pink was founded on his birthday, and when Saddam Hussein was being given a last chance to open Iraq to U.N. weapons inspectors, posters appeared...

San Francisco, meet Crawford, Tex. Using a tactic usually trained on the home turf of President Bush , a group of protesters from Code Pink, a women's antiwar group, have camped in front of the home of Speaker Nancy Pelosi here, bringing their message -- and mattresses -- to the doorstep of the nation’s highest-ranking Democrat . The protest, which began Sunday afternoon with dozens of demonstrators, is just Code Pink's latest effort to engage Ms. Pelosi, who the group feels has not gone far enough or fast enough to get the troops home from Iraq .

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A few dozen peace activists marched across the Golden Gate Bridge and gathered outside the San Francisco home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday, demanding that Congress stop funding the war in Iraq. "San Francisco has been against this war from the very beginning," said Toby Blome, a physical therapist who organized the event. "This is our fifth year of the war, and Nancy needs to wake up and represent San Franciscans." Blome, holding a plate of cheese and bread and a glass of wine, was stopped on her way to Pelosi's front door and...

Troop Rally and Peace Fair When rumors of a U.S. troop surge hit Baghdad recently, a lot of terrorists quickly left town. Others redoubled their efforts to kill women and children with their sneaky, underhanded method of planting bombs in civilian areas. But soldiers and police were quick to seize the initiative. Dividing the city into 10 security districts, Iraqi forces recently seized a huge cache of explosives from the cowardly terrorists. And more Iraqi peacekeepers are pouring in. “We have seen a decrease (in violence) in the last three weeks, a pretty radical decrease, actually,” US Army Lieutenant...

Walter Reed FReep Week 97 -- Almost Missed the Bus!Washington, DC, February 23, 2007 -- Comrade Bruce doesn't like being left out of the spotlight. Poor guy, saw a camera truck and went nuts! Around 7pm, a NBC crew was finishing up a story about Building 18 (the Barracks) on Georgia Avenue. TFroatz was standing by and asked the on-air talent "What's up?" They exchanged a few words, shook hands and parted ways. Bruce was across the street at the designated anti-America "vigil" station watching the brief scene play out. When the NBC guys headed back to their truck,...

Senator Hillary Clinton is running for president. Twelve people killed in a helicopter crash Saturday in Iraq. Thirteen other service members reported killed in other incidents. Two more on Sunday and two more on Monday. Twenty-nine people dead in the last three days in a war that the senator has supported since she first voted "yea" to give Bloody George carte blanche to invade Iraq and with her continuing support via her "yea" votes on giving the war addict in the White House the key to the treasury. Soon after Camp Casey, in August 2005, I was meeting with some...

Instead of "The Bus Stops here" I could well have titled this AAR "Freeping on a Glacier". Last week we had a typical Washington DC area winter storm; sleet and snow. During the day it partially melts, and at night freezes rock-hard. This time, after only about one day of partial melting, the temperature stayed below freezing even during the day, unusual for around here. The result was that any driveway or parking lot that didn't get plowed on Wednesday had turned into a glacier by the weekend. Cars that didn't get cleaned off were encased in ice. The parking...

<p>Washington, DC, February 9, 2007— The DC Chapter of Free Republic has lately added an Australian flag to its array of troop-honoring Coalition colors at our Friday evening rally at the gates of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The Aussie flag joins the British Union Jack in honor of two of our loyal partner nations in the War on Terror. Australian flags were given by two FReepers, Dinah Lord and Jimmy Valentine's Brother, who read of a donation to our Walter Reed rally by a supportive Australian passerby a few weeks ago.</p>

Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn, former members of the terrorist group the Weather Undeground will share the bill with Cindy Sheehan this weekend at an "emergency" impeachment summit in New York City. The Guardian gives this thumbnail sketch of the unrepentant terrorist couple:In the course of his time with the Weathermen (named after the Bob Dylan lines "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows"), Ayers' girlfriend, Diana Oughton, died with two other Weathermen when a bomb they were making exploded in their Greenwich Village apartment in 1970. Ayers went on the run with Bernadine Dohrn, the...

Wednesday, February 14, 2007 Foreign Operatives Using Message Boards All over the Internet, it is apparent that a coordinated, well-funded effort is under way to undermine and warp American values by attacking us through our least protected zone...the Internet. From AOL, to Yahoo, to Netscape, possible terrorists are posting on message boards while posing as liberals. They are taking advantage of the natural anti-American tendencies liberals have anyway, and therefore can more easily blend in. However, there are a few traits you should look for to determine whether someone is actually a foreign agent instead of just the average liberal:...

Last week, far left-wing blogger Amanda Marcotte began her stint as Democrat presidential candidate John Edwards' "blogmaster:" snip The question is: How long will the Edwards campaign want the "insightful" and "issues-oriented" Marcotte to be a part of them? Seems that everyone but the Edwards campaign has tracked Marcotte's foul-mouthed nutroots diatribes. Or perhaps the Edwards team is well aware of her lunatic blogging and can't wait for her to unleash her unbridled anger on their spiffy website to give him a gritty, "progressive" edge. Whatever the case, Walter Olson, K.C. Johnson, LieStoppers, and Jon Ham all caught Marcotte trying...

Code Pink comes to Fort Hood Last night I got a call from Kristinn about a possible invasion of my city by the Code pink freaks. After talking to Dr. Raul and looking it up on the Net, I was astonished to learn that this was true. Code pink Austin Chapter has decided to stage a protest outside the East Gate of the large Military Base in the Free world. As the only know Freeper here, I took it upon myself to make sure that this does not go unnoted so here is a little info for all of you...

On the Eve of "anti"-War at Walter Reed -- Week 93Washington, DC, January 26, 2007-- Old Man Winter seems to have finally arrived in the Nation's Capital. It didn't get nearly as cold or windy as the pessimistic forecasters predicted, but is was no day at the beach. Not a whole lot happened this Friday. We had FReepers from out of town who came to counter-protest the big United for Peace and Justice (and the Communist Way!) happening on the Mall on Saturday. The whole list of FReepers & FRiends in attendance last friday (If I missed anyone - please...
