  • Dem Reps Give Inaugural Passes to Radical Lesbian Protesters

Don't know if this has already been posted. Fox News just reported that a group of radical, anti-male, lesbians were given passes to the Inauguration by Democrat Congress members from New York and California in secret. That allowed them to unfurl anti-Bush banners and make cat-calls within 100 feet of the podium. I have to believe this is a felony in light of the security breach involved. Will the Republicans have the balls to go after these congresspeople, or will they just ignore it?

MEMBERS OF CODEPINK: WOMEN FOR PEACE UNFURL BANNERS AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE IRAQ WAR DURING GEORGE BUSH’S INAUGURAL ADDRESS Washington, DC – As George W. Bush gave his inaugural address in front of the U.S. Capitol, six women peace activists stood up on their chairs in the VIP section and shouted “bring the troops home!” The women also held up banners reading “No War,” “Out of Iraq Now,” and “Bush Mandate: Troops Home Now.” They were dragged out of the inaugural ceremony by the police, and two of the women are still in police custody.

Several thousand demonstrators rallied at Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco on Thursday night, protesting the inauguration of President Bush and calling for an end to the war in Iraq. After the rally, demonstrators marched along Market Street, effectively closing the street. Speakers at the rally gave fiery denunciations of Bush and his policies, with many shouting personal insults and some comparing his actions to that of the Nazis in pre-World War II Germany. "Today is a sad day in history. A war criminal has been sworn in as president," said Alicia Jrapko of International ANSWER, the group that organized...

Code Pink Leader Medea Benjamin and another inaugural protest leader were on Laura Ingraham's radio show. Second half hour of the second hour. Show is played tape-delayed across the country. I just caught the very end of the spot. Laura was asking the Medusa if the left had any new protest chants because the old ones have really lost it. Medusa Benjamin said that she was hoping that Laura and her audience could use their creativity to provide some new chants for them.

Like any other group, Communists come in a lot of shapes, sizes and colors. This time they’re wearing pink, they’re on the nightly news, and more than anything, they want the mothers and grandmothers of America to identify with them. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think the leaders of the women’s anti-war group Code Pink got lost on their way to the carpool line. Since October, these hot pink-clad "marching moms" have been spinning the same tale to reporters from coast to coast, the one about how concern for their families moved them to trade their oven mitts...

AMMAN (AFP) - Jordanian police banned relatives of US servicemen killed in Iraq (news - web sites) and members of anti-war groups from holding a candlelit vigil outside UN headquarters, an AFP correspondent reported. A police officer at the scene in western Amman told reporters the protest was banned because the activists failed to get a permit from the authorities three days ago in line with the law and urged everyone to leave the area. "The police banned us and asked us to leave for security reasons," said Medea Benjamin, the founding director of human rights group Global Exchange which...

American citizen Medea Benjamin, a leader of the anti-American group Code Pink, announced in Amman, Jordan this week that Code Pink, it's parent group Global Exchange and Families for Peace have donated $600,000 in aid to the 'other side' in the terrorist haven city of Fallujah in Iraq. This news, which has been ignored by the media worldwide, was reported by Agence France Press but was picked up by only two small news outlets:"I don't know of any other case in history in which the parents of fallen soldiers collected medicine ... for the families of the 'other side'," said Medea...

History has shown that the neutral position is the most dangerous position to take. Unfortunately for Bill O'Reilly, the host of Fox News' O'Reilly Factor and the target of sexual harassment lawsuit, his attempts at reasonableness are neither liberal enough for the hard left nor conservative enough for the solid right. Conservatives bite the hand that feeds them when they fail to recognize that O'Reilly, in his position as an independent moderate, provides the perfect doorway through which a maturing, political aficionado can pass as he discovers the dangerous liberal slant of the mainstream media. (Certainly, a budding neo-con does...

An Interview with Sue Niederer Her Son Was Told by the Recruiter He Wouldn't See Combat; Now He's Dead By ELIZABETH WEILL-GREENBERG Seth, 24, was in debt after he graduated from Rutgers University in 2002. He joined the army for money and skills that, he was told, would help land him a job with the CIA or FBI -- his dream jobs. "Not for patriotism," said his mother, Sue Niederer, who is now an anti-war activist. She advised her son to get the recruiter's promises in writing. When Seth asked, the recruiter told him, "Your mother wears your pants for...

A woman wearing a T-shirt with the words "President Bush You Killed My Son" and a picture of a soldier killed in Iraq was detained Thursday after she interrupted a campaign speech by First lady Laura Bush. Police escorted Sue Niederer of Hopewell, N.J., from a rally at a firehouse after she demanded to know why her son, Army 1st Lt. Seth Dvorin, 24, was killed in Iraq. Dvorin died in February while trying to disarm a bomb.

A woman who was bounced out of Madison Square Garden during President Bush’s nationally televised speech at the Republican National Convention has deep ties to the Democratic party’s left coast. The woman, Jodie Evans, one of the founders of the women’s antiwar group Codepink, was removed from the Republican convention on Thursday after standing up during the president's speech and showing anti-Bush and antiwar slogans on a pink slip she wore Ms. Evans managed Jerry Brown’s unsuccessful 1992 presidential campaign, and is a close colleague of ex-California Governor Gray Davis and longtime friend of chief Democratic hit man Bob Mulholland

They have lobbied in the halls of Congress wearing pig costumes and wandered the streets of Manhattan dressed in evening wear and rags. But the three founders of the women's antiwar group Codepink are seasoned advocates who may have pulled off the protest coup of the convention: While thousands of demonstrators chanted on the streets, drawing only glancing attention from the Republicans, their members were inside Madison Square Garden night after night, unfurling banners and baring slogans, forcing even the president to take notice. ''We don't want just to be outside on the street talking to ourselves,'' said Medea Benjamin,...

I just heard Lee and Mel on KSFO state that two California delegates were the ones who allowed the Code Pink protestors who attempted to disrupt the President's speech last night. Apparently the two protestors were seated with the California delegation. One of the protestors was Medea Benjamin, infamous leader of Code Pink. Lee and Mel just mentioned that perhaps former CA governor Pete Wilson was one of the delegates who gave his convention pass to the protestors. I've been searching FR for any articles about the disruption last night, but have found nothing.
