One thing I learned watching the witch trial of Brett Kavanaugh on MSNBC, is that a prestigious university in New York has a Vice President for Social Justice. (She is an MSNBC commentator). Her Orwellian title is but one of many signs that our country is already on the threshold of 1984; the Judiciary Committee circus is another. In her comments on the hearings, the Vice President for Social Justice, Maya Wiley, was clearly out for blood, and had no interest in evidence, due process, or the facts. She is also of course both a woman, a woman “of color”...

In the short time since Christine Blasey Ford testified, many have gone out of their way to equate her emotional testimony with credibility. But, there are several red flags that should inform reasonable people that she can’t be trusted. 5. In the court of public opinion and the U.S. Senate, Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s problem is that Christine Blasey Ford has a narrative and he does not. He has only the forceful and angry denials of an innocent man. But a counter-narrative does exist, based upon Ford’s own words and actions, which goes to explain why and how she made these false accusations, and without eliding her own agency in making decisions. There was something curiously missing from Christine Blasey Ford’s Thursday Senate testimony, something quite relevant to her claims. Consider the following segment testimony about the alleged (circa) 1982 sexual assault by SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh: Both Brett and Mark [Judge] were drunkenly laughing during the attack… During this assault, Mark came over and jumped on the bed twice while Brett was on top of me.
