The commander of the Navy's Carrier Strike Group 15 based in San Diego was relieved of his duties Friday, the Navy said in a release on Saturday. Rear Adm. Rick Williams was removed from his position due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command, the release said. The Navy's Third Fleet Commander Vice Adm. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Heavy metal singer Chris Barnes didn't know what people would think of "Amerika the Brutal," an anti-war song he wrote after his cousin deployed to Iraq in 2003. He heard a number of complaints - but also received supportive e-mails from American troops in the war zone.

<p>Alexander Baquera, an 18-year-old Roosevelt High School student, was charged over the weekend in the murder of his classmate, 16-year-old Chris Barnes, a Lubbock County Jail officer said.</p> <p>Baquera remained at Lubbock County Jail Sunday evening in lieu of $500,000 bail.</p>
