Michael Bloomberg's entry, Deval Patrick's consideration of 2020 race an 'SOS' for Democrats, Matt Schlapp says Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's entry into the 2020 Democratic presidential primary and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick's consideration to do the same is a sign the Democratic Party is having trouble, according to Matt Schlapp. The Democrats are divided between the progressive wing and the more center-left wing of the party, Schlapp told Laura Ingraham on Monday. "I do think this is an S.O.S. -- this is a cry for help," he said.

Could this be why Deval Patrick decided to decamp for Bain in the first place? Not long before leaving office, then-Governor Patrick fired two officials at the State Sex Offender Registry Board, in part because they had attempted to force his brother-in-law Bernard Sigh to register as a sex offender. Sigh had pled guilty in 1993 for marital rape and served a short prison sentence, and Patrick’s political opponents dug it up in 2006 in an unsuccessful effort to derail his gubernatorial bid.In 2014, Patrick got his revenge: On Monday, Patrick, still seething over the story eight years later,...

Deval Patrick, the former governor of Massachusetts, has announced that he is running for president in the 2020 race. Patrick made it official in an online video posted early Thursday morning. Patrick was a guest on "CBS This Morning" on Thursday for his first interview following his announcement. A CBS News contributor since September, Patrick will no longer serve in that role. "Governor Patrick has been a political contributor to CBS News but in light of this decision, the network will be discontinuing that relationship," CBS News said.

ABC bigwigs are going potty to find the identity of the leaker behind the Amy Robach tape — after the alleged source posted a letter online slamming the network under the name “Ignotus,” a wizard from the “Harry Potter” franchise. After junior producer Ashley Bianco denied leaking the tape, on which the anchor complained ABC News killed her interview with Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre, someone purporting to be the actual leaker and still working at the network posted a letter on Project Veritas blasting ABC’s “mission of seek and destroy” to conjure up the mysterious mole. Project Veritas...

...The View is just CNN and MSNBC by another name. It is the television version of the NYT and the WaPo, neither of which is a reputable news provider. Like Bill Maher's show, it is only about one thing now: destroy President Trump. These Trump-deranged TV celebs do not care that Trump has managed to reduce unemployment to the lowest on record, that wages are up across the board, that ISIS has been defeated. They loathe him because he is the most successful President since Reagan on every level, despite their attempts to thwart him every step of the way....

What can you even say about these corrupt media organizations at this point? – Or perhaps we should quote Hillary Clinton and ask, “At this point, what difference does it make?” Well, if you are a former producer for ABC, and as of Thursday, CBS as well named Ashley Bianco, it makes a lot of difference. Ms. Bianco finds herself out looking for a new job today because executives at both fake TV news operations conspired to summarily fire her based on the false accusation that she was the whistleblower who leaked a video of ABC reporter Amy Robach to...

It gives me no pleasure to report that I agree, on just this one thing, with Donald Trump Jr., who went on The View Thursday to say he shouldn’t be condemned for naming the Ukraine whistle-blower when ABC News is cracking down on its own Jeffrey Epstein–related leaker. This is a matter on which Trump Jr. is both self-serving and hypocritical, but let us acknowledge this broken clock. News organizations should not hunt down leakers in their ranks, not when it’s a matter of valid public interest — specifically, how the press reported on a serial abuser — even if...

Former ABC producer Ashley Bianco reveals the inside story to Megyn Kelly about the hot mic moment from anchor Amy Robach.

Editors Note: Project Veritas is publishing the writing below at the request of the ABC news insider who gave us the Amy Robach tape. This was submitted to us in light of the actions taken by CBS News to fire the female staffer who had access to the tape, and to the reactions of ABC news to revelations by Amy Robach spiking of the story on Jeffrey Epstein. To my fellow man: I came forward with this information bearing no motives other than to have this information public. I did not and do not seek any personal gain from this...

CBS News has fired a female staffer believed to have had access to the tape of Amy Robach raging against ABC, Page Six understands. The staffer previously worked at ABC News and had access to audio of ABC anchor Robach caught on a hot mic complaining her bosses had failed to air her interview with Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Guiffre. A TV source said the woman was let go on Wednesday, after ABC execs alerted CBS.

By her excitement and choice of words, one could easily think failing-CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell was promoting a pay-per-view boxing or pro-wrestling match during Wednesday’s newscast. But no, she was hyping the televised impeachment hearings that would start next week. In addition to that, NBC Nightly News chided Republicans were wanted the public to know the identity of the infamous anti-Trump whistleblower who helped to start the investigation. “Tonight, lights, cameras, testimony. The stage is set for the first televised hearings of the impeachment inquiry,” O’Donnell excitedly proclaimed during the program’s opening tease. “We now know when they...

Don Trump Jr. went on ABC's The View to defend his father, President Trump, and promote his new book Triggered. The hosts attacked him Thursday for publishing the name of the whistleblower, and Trump Jr. said he released it because it was already out on the Drudge Report and other news sites. He said the media was hypocritical for criticizing him because ABC had gotten their own whistleblower fired Thursday. The son of the president blasted the network for criticizing him while getting CBS to fire the person who leaked video from a host saying they spiked the Jeffrey Epstein...

Here at Newsbusters we have been covering the abortion saga on the CBS drama Bull, produced by Dr. Phil McGraw. In a television era when Planned Parenthood practically writers scripts and Hollywood actively tries to “destigmatize abortion,” Bull has been one of the few shows to at least acknowledge the moral wrong of abortion. Unfortunately, it has also made some concessions to abortion attitudes by implying that a pro-life parent should still be supportive of their child if the child chooses abortion. In this week’s episode, “Doctor Killer,” on November 4, the show’s pro-life father, Chunk (Christopher Jackson), does not...

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Margaret Brennan, the host of "Face the Nation" on CBS, that the very first person he would want to question in the Democrats' bogus impeachment probe would be House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA). "Well, the very first person I think we should bring is Adam Schiff and his staff. He is the only individual in America–" McCarthy said. "For a public hearing?" a confused Brennan asked. "You want to question the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee?" "Yes, I would, because he's the only person who knows who this whistleblower is....

atherine Herridge is joining CBS News as a senior investigative correspondent based in Washington D.C. Herridge has played a critical part of Fox News newsgathering over the past decade and has been a central figure in reporting on D.C. based stories in the past year, namely the Mueller Report and hearings as well as the current Trump-Ukraine scandal that has launched the current impeachment inquiry led by House Democrats. While this will likely be viewed as a significant loss for Fox News news division, her hiring by a network news department such as CBS is a badge of honor for...

On Wednesday, both NBC’s 3rd Hour Today show and CBS This Morning engaged in climate change hysteria as they touted dire predictions that huge portions of land around the world would be underwater by 2050 and displace hundreds of millions of people. The network hosts all blindly accepted the warnings as true without pointing out that such wild claims have been made for decades without coming to fruition. “And speaking of climate change, on the flip side of that, too much water actually becoming an issue....rising seas could affect way more people than they previously thought....this is an estimate for...

This season, the CBS drama Bull has been highlighting the struggle of the character Chunk as he tries to prevent his daughter Anna from having an abortion. Last week, Chunk sought out a church for spiritual counseling and had a book on his desk titled “Choice: Abortion Politics and the Black Community.” In this week’s episode, “Into the Mystic,” on October 28, he tells his daughter of the abortion, "I know deep in my heart, that this is wrong." But still, the unplanned pregnancy subplot took a turn in a direction Newbusters feared it might. We previously surmised that “the...

Army Delta Force and Army Rangers led the way and closed in on Baghdadi’s lair in an overnight firefight and the ISIS leader died “crying, whimpering and screaming.” President Trump made a statement and took questions on Sunday morning. Talk about putting the “men” in menstruation! On Tuesday it was announced that feminine hygiene product brand Always would be removing the Venus female symbol from its packaging. CBS News reported, “The announcement follows pleas from LGBTQ activists to make the labeling more inclusive of transgender and non-binary customers.” Because apparently having feminine products coded as feminine is offensive and exclusionary. According to CBS News, “LGBTQ activists and allies have been publicly asking P&G [Procter & Gamble] to redesign the packaging to be more gender-neutral. They argued that using the female symbol is exclusive because not all women menstruate, and...
