It was as if he was never born, and everyone was expected to go along with the charade. Curiously, most people did. News stories immediately and unquestioningly stopped referring to Bruce. But no one bothered to ask a very basic question: how does Bruce, or anyone, know what it’s like to be another gender? They don’t ask it because it is impossible to answer, and they don’t want to be seen as insufficiently woke. But it’s an important question as people are having their lives ruined over slipping...
