Yes, that is true. However, my dream is to bankrupt the system of academia. I see that as the only way to start over and force colleges to stick to degrees that are worth what they cost.
If politicians wanted to solve the student loan “crisis” all they would have to do is allow students over their head in debt to file for bankruptcy. This would destroy the student loan industry and they would stop lending money for wymen’s studies and the like. This in turn would cause a huge down turn in the number of students attending college and colleges would go bust. Then colleges would slowly build back offering just worthwhile classes that would give a return on investment.
I agree, I do not want it either. However, the hoops you have to jump through to not get it are crazy. Easier to get it and leave it in the bank or buy silver with it.
From my time living in Oregon on the Southern Coast, I seem to remember the Southern Oregon coastal counties being more conservative and that they became more liberal the further north you went towards Astoria.
I lived on the Oregon coast near Gold Beach for about 6 years. I loved the place but hated the state politics. If it was not for all the dems, my family and I would still be there.
If they cannot agree that their life matters as well as my life matters and all lives matter... if they cannot agree to that, then there is nothing left to do but to have at it in the streets. I am tired of this crap.
