The American Community Survey appears to be the same as the census long form. The cover says it is intended to replace the long form and every household will be required to complete it every five years.While claiming that it will be used only for statistical purposes it requires the inclusion of name, employer, annual income, date of birth, etc. It also requires a detailed description of one's home, including the monthly electric bill! It is intrusive in the extreme and the cover states we are required to complete the information "by law" without any further information about penalties.
