Schaum's Outline Series has some great stuff. It's got everything in it. From the basics of Algebra and Geometry to Fast Fourier Transforms (wow, haven't said that since college). Amazon's got it.

I actually have a degree in Physics. I found out a few years later when I was looking at my transcripts that they awarded my a co-major in Mathematics. The univeristy doesn't award two degrees if they are both earned in the same college. (I found out that just about everyone who majors in Physics usually gets a co-major in math due to the number of math credits we pick up). BTW I graduated from Creighton University in Omaha back in 1994. I would love to double my salary but I really don't want to leave Nebraska and I actually really enjoy my job!

Just read the Fairtax plan. Sounds like a great idea but I have two questions. First, does this mean corporations pay no federal taxes? And B, it talks about a monthly rebate, that sounds like it would be a huge undertaking. Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to try anything to replace this crap-hole mess we've got now...
I did a search before posting this thread and couldn't find anything like it. But if you all talked about this a few years ago when the tax cuts went through, feel free to yank it. Otherwise, I was just wondering if anyone else has taken the time to fill out tax forms from the past just to compare.
