In 2012, Idaho had a Republican caucus. There are areas of Idaho where non-LDS(non-Mormons) keep a very low profile because they are discriminated against. Anyone going to the 2012 caucus and voting for anyone but Romney was going to be “outed” as non-LDS.

This year, the Republicans have gone back to a primary with a secret ballot. The LDS faithful are leaning towards Cruz. Between frustrated non-LDS voters, annoyed residents of central Idaho due to the refugee center, and areas of western Idaho being swamped by Latinos (legal and non-legal), Trump has a good chance of winning in Idaho.

Particularly with his unashamed “Make America Great Again!” slogan.

A lot of cities are having mayoral and city council elections right now. Some people in Boise are annoyed with Boise's current administration because they want to raise property taxes to preserve "urban open spaces", "create bike lanes", and turn downtown Boise into a liberal Mecca while ignoring the neighborhoods on the "Bench" and Eastern Boise (which is full of vacant business buildings and signs in Spanish now).

Someone needs to turn this question back around to Megyn Kelly or whoever asks it with something like: "The parents are CITIZENS of [Country X]. The children are also most likely CITIZENS of [Country X]. Why should the U.S. provide dual citizenship to a baby when 164 out of 194 countries do not grant automatic citizenship to a baby born within their borders? Why should the U.S. expect its legal citizens to support and condone the illegal actions of other countries' citizens?"

Some of the social justice people actually believe that. Their shorthand argument is "Racism = power + privilege" and that since whites in the U.S. have power and privilege, ONLY and ALL whites are racist. Blacks can be bigots or discriminatory but not racist because blacks are oppressed by whites. (Somehow Latinos, Native Americans, and Asians get overlooked in this argument.)

If you point out whites are minorities and do not have power and/or privilege in sections of the U.S., the social justice people start blithering on about ALL whites benefiting from black slavery. Even whites who had grandfathers called "Okie" and "white n*gg*r".

The Idaho State legislature raised gas tax by 7 cents a gallon and increased automobile registration by $25 per year.

They did this on the last day of the 2015 legislative session around midnight which gave no time for voters to comment.

I used to work for the IRS. The auditors check employee paychecks to verify that Social Security and Medicare is withheld from employee paychecks and sent to the government. This amount is also subject to income taxes before being deducted from the employees' wages. Also, this amount is matched by the employer but not noted on employees' paychecks.

I (and my employers) put approximately $700,000 into the system and, in addition, I paid income taxes on my half. At the rate the government reimburses me, it would take about 30 years for me to get it back.

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California wanted to build a water desalination plant something like 40 years ago but it was considered too expensive and not environmentally friendly.

When my family moved to boring, rural Nampa 25 years ago, it was approximately 95% white. It’s now approximately 75% white because the Hispanic population went from something like 5% to 23%. Gang violence went up, drug dealers moved in, there are anchor babies (or children brought into the country by their illegal alien parents) overwhelming the schools, and the parents can’t or won’t speak English. Refugees were resettled here because of “diversity”. They’ve already had a few Muslim “honor killings”.

Healthcare.gov stated they used 2015 premium figures when they should have used 2014 premium figures. They actually recommended waiting to file taxes until March after corrected statements were mailed.

AND the IRS still hasn’t issued specific instructions (Publication 974) for certain cases. It’s so messed up that the Federal government is going to reopen Obamacare enrollment.

I thought Mythbusters already showed that they could have made it. They actually recreated the escape.

I saw this show and noticed the two brothers really did look like family relatives which was to be expected because they were my grandfather's cousins. After the escape date, he claimed to have seen them at a family funeral.

Given the ingenuity of that side of the family, I have no reason to believe they didn't escape and survive.
