I finally managed to close on, and sell my old house! As many ( too many) people on FR know, I was about frantic with worry over this for months. Many, many FRiends gave me comfort, prayer, wise advice, the occasional giggle, and a shoulder to moan on. (Thanks, you guys. I would not have made it without the Canteen and the Undead Thrread!) Hi. Some of us are doing some Missionary Work on a high-school aged Newbie. He's having a hard time with his teacher and class-mates because he's a conservative and they are typical viscious Liberals. Netmilsmom had the brilliant idea of giving him the pics of Bush In His Fight Suit, and the Dorky Kerry In His Flower-Power Jogging Outfit. A simple matter of "Contrast and Compare" Now I was able to find an okay pic of Bush, but I am having a terrible time searching for the Kerry pic. Anybody got that? Little help would be good. I'd look it up, but darned if I can remember her last name! AND mysteriously, it seems hard to find anything on her now! FReepers, I found this in my "in-box". I ask Michigan Freepers to take a moment to write, call, fax, e-mail, whatever it takes. 4-H is a family oriented, CONSERVATIVE group that deserves our support. My daughter is mildly autistic and 4-H has done her a world of good! Having to talk to judges, work as a team, complete projects and work with a large, cranky animal has ALL done her a world of good ! She has blossemed! Hi there! So here we are in Michigan, and the Washtenaw county 4-H Youth Fair is in less than two weeks. Hello! I need a little help. A while back, there was a thread on FR having to do with the contract house Aerotek, it's relationship with GM, and a possible class action suit by people here in Michigan. Our daughter's godfather has worked for Aerotek for 4 years now, assigned to GM.
