I think this nomination backfired on democrats. The court moderates are now petrified of voting the same and having their judicial intellect pared down to a below average middle school mind, thus the recent 6-3 ruling.

Seems like insurance companies demand to profit every year. You will have some “California fire years”. But if every home is paying 1% of the replacement costs of the home - I don’t think losses/payouts approach that 1% annually on average.

Re-assign him out of the committee. Surely there’s another senator that can fill his spot. The senate has more love for their decorum than they do for the country. How smug they are they get to be accepted at cocktails parties while they destroy the country.
