Bear in mind that a judge is nothing but a politically well connected shyster. That said, the Oregon legal/political system is totally corrupt from the downtown law office all the way to the State Capitol. It is not just the queer thing.

The whole damned legal/political system in Oregon is corrupt from the law office on the corner to the guv’s office. I doubt that there are more than a few hundred honest lawyers in Oregon and damned few office holders.
The Oregon legal/political system is not becoming an obviously corrupt and biased court system. It already is and has been for years obviously corrupt.
The article is incorrect. State Senator Betsy Johnson (D) voted with the Republicans on this issue as she always has done in the past. She is probably the strongest supporter of the second amendment out there.

“All of this was known during the campaign, the press would not report it, now its an issue? After he is elected for his 8th through 12th years of graft and corruption! “
Some of the press reported it, but the voters ignored it.
With a “D” behind his name on the ballot, he could have diddled a donkey on the Capitol stairway and still been reelected.

I will not vote for a socialist democrat such as Merkley, nor will I stand aside and allow him to win by default. I voted for the best candidate in the primary and put $100 into his campaign.
He lost.
Now time to vote for the better candidate, far from perfect, but clearly better.
The folks we could choose in the primary are out of it. We now have either a Republican with a mixed bag of political positions or one of the most extreme liberal Democrats in the country.
Not voting is a vote for the Democrat.

I did not vote for her in the primary.
I will vote for her in the general.
Not voting for her in the general is the same thing as voting for Merkley, one of the most liberal Demos in the entire senate.
Doubt it will ever happen. Oregon’s legal/political system is totally corrupt. How many lawyers were punished by the state bar for their role in the coverup of a recent governor’s child rape activities? Yup, none of them.
