The answer is for those 60 and over to be exempt from property taxes or at least delay collection until the house is sold or the owners pass away to be sold on the market.
We need to have a law that any one charged or indicted for a crime most have a trial with 90 days or they are to be set free. Judges and lawyers are delaying speedy trials so that they can appear to be fair. An innocent man sat in a jail cell for 36 months for god’s sake. IMHO.
It is just a benefit for a Veteran that has been disabled. It is not like SSI or SSDI. However, at your evaluations the examiner will take into consideration your work history to see if you are still are rated disabled for something. I’ve known vets that have had a high ratings returning to work and losing some benefits. I am 10% disabled due to hearing loss. I get VA assistance for hearing medical support and $200 per month.
