After the Marxist/Antifa coalition was put down, a fictional Southern governor of Cuban ancestry became President and basically engineered a right-wing dictatorship to ruthlessly purge all leftist elements from the government in the aftermath.

I will treat this like the Olympics. If you wear USA on your shirt/jacket/helmet/shorts/etc. I will cheer for you to win and follow the results even if it’s a sport that isn’t my cup of tea for excitement or entertainment value.
However that rooting interest is dependent on said athletes not being completely odious and insufferable like Megan Rapinoe.
What we know of today as “Hollywood Studios” for film and TV series production are in the same position as blacksmiths and buggy whip manufacturers in 1900.
AI is going to render most of “Hollywood” obsolete as far as content creation within the next decade or so.

The BBC is about as credible as CNN, MSNBC, or any other legacy media outlet. Posh accents and Big Ben chimes at the start of broadcasts don’t make them any more authoritative.
