I have been following the latest problems in the Middle East and I've become concerned about the media's portrayal of the current events. On the plus side, I feel they are shooting themselves in the foot by showing their support for Arafat and his scum. I know, they do their best to hide their true feelings, but look between the lines. I think that this is considered a "Vanity" post, but please forgive me this one time. I have heard many Democrates and Liberal pundits, including members of the press, question service in the Army/Air National Guard and also Reserve units. I have heard Rep. Robert Wexler of Florida on MSNBC this afternoon expressing his opinion on Elain's return to Cuba and voicing his feelings about the Cuban population in Florida. He had nothing but kind words for the Cuban community in his district. Has he always expressed this kindness to the Cubans or did he take a poll and find out that his chances for re-election have hit a big bump in the road??

I'm not sure of the exact time and city but there was a situation in, I beleive Cincinati, when the city counsel passed a law requiring registration of all privately owned hanguns in the city. They told everyone that there was no need for anyone to fear this new requirement. There were no plans for future confiscation. So they said.
