“And he said, ‘Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am I but dust and ashes: Suppose there be fifty righteous within the city; wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?’”
Trump is reminiscent of Cyrus the Great, who Ezra and Isiah called anointed by God. That does not mean he was a Godly man, but he was used by God. Cyrus conquered Babylon, freed the Jews, ordered the Temple rebuilt (and funded the building) among many other things. I believe Trump is annotated by God. Now, as far as being the greatest ever, not even close. That should be reserved for Christ.
I worked with a man who had a respiratory infection, and had taken a couple of days off to get better. Another coworker and I went to visit him after work and he was coughing up blood. I immediately called his wife, who was at work and told her. He kept telling us he was Okay so his wife called EMS and we stayed with him till his wife and the ambulance got there. He was delirious by that time. They barely saved his life. We had a talk when he got back to work a few weeks later and he told us that he thought he could tough it out.
Exactly. That is why I said it was allegedly found to cause a hole in the ozone. Don’t get me started on DDT, where researchers feed low calcium feed to birds that was certain to cause the thin egg shells they were looking to prove DDT caused.
There is more to the Freon story than is generally known. The hole in the ozone gambit was the backup plan. Before that someone with lots of money funded a study to prove Freon caused cancer. I knew one of the biologists conducting the study. He wiped Freon on the skin of mice, made them inhale Freon fumes, injected them with Freon, in short, did everything he could think of doing and Freon would not cause cancer in mice. If it had cased cancer it could have been banned. A few years later it was allegedly found to cause a hole in the ozone.
“They’re terrifying animals. Rape, murder, abduction, castration, disfigurement etc are all part and parcel of even vaguely hostile interactions for them.”
That describes the liberal Democrats of Portland. Come to think of it, it also describes a good part of the Middle East.
