I had way too much time on my hands this year and decided to make a calendar - not just any calendar mind you, this one most assuredly a one off. If you want a copy, this link might work, if not, freepmail me. http://nodoll.ipower.com/calendar%20V.X.htm I have a few hard copies left if anyone would like one.

If President George W. Bush thought appointment of new Federal Emergency Management Agency director David Paulison would end criticism of the agency’s questionable leadership he could find that thought buried under a mountain of duct tape. Many career FEMA professionals consider Paulison a laughing stock because of his role in the “great duct tape controversy” of 2003. It was then that Paulison, as director of FEMA’s preparedness division, recommended that Americans stock up on “plastic sheeting and duct tape” to prepare themselves for a possible biological, chemical or nuclear attack by terrorists.

The tech industry is redoubling its lobbying efforts to raise the cap on the number of foreign nationals permitted to fill skilled jobs in the United States. With slim hope of seeing legislation passed this year exempting the industry from visa limits on foreign workers, IT companies are setting the groundwork for the next Congress to raise the cap further. http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1730306,00.asp

I attended this event and met Curt Weldon, Dom Giradono and a lot of the vets. I had a pretty good sign and before the press conference started Weldon called me over to stand behind them so the media could see it clearly. Weldon read the document and made a short speech along with Dom Giradono and 2 State Reps. Weldon gathered a small group of people to go up to Rendell's office to deliver the letter, most were Vets and media but I managed to slip in with my sign. I asked Curt if it was ok as I...

I just heard that the showing of Stolen Honor has been canceled for tomorrow night by the theater owner due to the threat of a lawsuit. Dom is talking about it on his radio show but they are having some audio problems at the studio. I hope this hasn't been posted - I did do a check. I will endeavor to obtain more info.

Ok yeah it's a vanity but I REALLY think we need to get beyond the forgeries themselves and figure out what the endgame is. There has to be a bigger picture. This was too easily refuted and they had to know it before it was aired. I have a few theories and a LOT of questions, so bear with me and read on. Questions: 1. Why was the forgery done in such and amaturerish way? Rather than use MS Word with default setting would it have been better to make a reasonable facsimile using equipment and paper from the era?...

<p>Dec. 20 was supposed to be Michael Emmons' D-Day, the day he was to lose his contractor position.</p>
<p>It would have been, had Emmons not quit his post at Siemens AG's Siemens Information and Communication Networks division, in Lake Mary, Fla., on Nov. 22 rather than wait to be replaced by a worker from Tata Consultancy Services holding an L1 visa. Tata is a Mumbai, India, IT services company contracted by Siemens to do, among other things, Emmons' job: connecting Web sites to SAP R3 applications.</p>

Dear Dad, We are still at sea. The remainder of our port visits have all been cancelled. We have spent every day since the attacks going back and forth within imaginary boxes drawn in the ocean, standing high-security watches, and trying to make the best of it. We have seen the articles and the photographs, and they are sickening. Being isolated, I don't think we appreciate the full scope of what is happening back home, but we are definitely feeling the effects. About two hours ago, we were hailed by a German Navy destroyer, Lutjens, requesting permission to pass close ...
