Ted Cruz Easily Wins 603 Alliance Caucus

I have just returned from this event, which was great fun! Just a quick note, though, that the author of this article is almost certainly incorrect in saying that Carly came in second, and Carson came in third. There were many, many Carson supporters there, but only a handful of Carly supporters. I know this because we Cruz supporters were forced to use their (Carly's) space for our overflow of Cruz attendees!

Earns 51% of voter approval in Republican Liberty Caucus Straw Poll HOUSTON, Texas – Presidential candidate Ted Cruz continues to shore up his support among libertarian voters, earning 51 percent approval from voters participating in the straw poll held at the Republican Liberty Caucus in Nashua, NH over the weekend. “We are very encouraged by the growing support we are seeing among liberty voters in the early states and across the country,” Cruz said. “I have spent my career defending and promoting the constitutional liberties that our nation was founded upon, and that are increasingly under assault today.
Quick Question re Releasing SS#s / Real Estate Transactions (Vanity)

Can anybody cite the law that exempts people (Sellers) from divulging their SS#s during real estate transactions? I know this can be done (at least in NH) because I was at a closing 8.5 years ago, where the Seller was refusing to release his. The in-house lawyer was then called upon and, when he came out, he and the Seller had a bit of a back-and-forth about it in front of everyone. The Seller then told the lawyer that he could prove it to him if he'd just come with him outside the room (presumably out to a telephone?). When...

Gayle Trotter (IWF) SJC Testimony (Why AR15 is Potentially Necessary for Young Women/Mothers)

Gayle Trotter of the Independent Women's Forum testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday, and did an excellent job in appealing to the young women/mothers at home on the subject of why the AR15 is so suitable, and even potentially necessary, for them as a home defense tool. Where-oh-where is the news reporting on this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SWGCDcTIb4

TV Host Glenn Beck Sparks Fury By Branding Obama Racist For A SECOND Time

Right-wing talk show host Glenn Beck took 24 hours to consider the storm he sparked by branding President Obama a racist - then said it again. Beck took time out on his nationally syndicated radio show to defend his comments, made in connection with the arrest of black Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. by a white police officer.

With each new day, we hear another liberal news-reader gloating that McCain is stuck behind Barack Obama because of the “economy” -- otherwise referred to as “eight years of the failed Bush economic policies.” With this one sweeping comment, they do two things: a) link McCain to “an unpopular president,” and b) allow the reader to conclude that the Republicans have been the Majority controlling the purse strings during the past two years.

Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”: Vote for Obama in Remaining Primaries? (Vanity)

Because hearing Rush urge conservatives to vote for Hillary is so maddening to me, I clearly remember hearing him say a few weeks ago that he "want[ed] Hillary to win in Pennsylvania, but Obama to win everywhere else." If that is the case, why are so many who think his "Operation Chaos" is a good idea still talking about voting for Hillary in the upcoming primaries? Shouldn't they all be voting for Obama now?

Will Hillary Step Down? (Vanity)

Now that Hillary has been caught accepting illegal campaign contributions, how many in the media will stop asking about whether Sen. Craig will step down to ask the question "Will Hillary Step Down?" While they're at it, perhaps they will also ask the question about which "charity" Hillary has chosen for the redistribution of the illegal campaign contributions.
