Two customers of Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen were taken to a hospital Thursday night after being burned by a flaming drink. A spokeswoman for Caesars Palace, where the restaurant is located, confirmed the incident, but could not provide further information on their condition. She said the drink was a tiki-style cocktail called Rum Donkey. The online menu lists the ingredients as Cruzan Single Barrel Rum, falernum, brown sugar, ginger beer and torched passion fruit. Caesars Entertainment issued a statement that says, in part, “We stand ready to provide any assistance they may need to help them through this difficult time.”...

June 29 marked the end of the Third Review Conference (RevCon) of the United Nations’ Programme of Action (PoA) on Small Arms and Light Weapons. Delegates at the conference, including representatives of the United States, worked on producing updates to the global gun-control agreement. According to the text of the latest draft of the agreement, the PoA will serve as an “international instrument to enable states to identify and trace, in a timely and reliable manner” the small arms and light weapons that are the target of the scheme. In practice, this means that the governments of member nations (including...

It is built into a dangerous bill called the CLOUD Act, which would allow police at home and abroad to seize cross-border data without following the privacy rules where the data is stored. This backdoor is an insidious method for accessing our emails, our chat logs, our online videos and photos, and our private moments shared online between one another. This backdoor would deny us meaningful judicial review and the privacy protections embedded in our Constitution. This new backdoor for cross-border data...

A billboard near Interstate 15 and Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas was found vandalized early Thursday morning. The billboard is for Battlefield Vegas, a shooting range in Las Vegas. The sign was changed from “Shoot a .50 Caliber Only $29” to “Shoot a School Kid Only $29.” Over the phone number for Battlefield Vegas was pasted “Defend Lives Reform Laws.” A video posted on YouTube shows two people making the changes on the sign during the night. The video was posted by a group, INDECLINE, an art collective.

Cards Against Humanity has become known for their outlandish stunts and promotions, but the company is taking things to a new level with their latest actions. The company, known for buying land along the U.S.-Mexico border to thwart President Donald Trump’s border wall and for selling packs of cards to help support legalization of marijuana, recently raised over a million dollars and did something radical with it: They redistributed it.
